Yes they did, and they have had the potential and have shown it at times through the year. When I said get better it wasn't about QB play or running the ball etc. It was about mental focus (no dumb penalties that put you behind the sticks, not missing assignments, blitz pick-up, not holding onto the ball, etc etc) Just the mental focus.
Wasn't a dig on anyone just if you want to be the best the mental focus has to be there. At times they have shown that 100%, other times they have had a lapse in that. They will be fine.
Zionsville will present some challenges (much more than New Albany did) I would say behind Center Grove, Westfield, and Brownsburg that Zionsville will be one of the Irish's toughest tests. I would place New Palestine right behind Zionsville (DC defensively but they had struggles offensively when they had to put Tracy at QB due to injury of their QB).
