Here’s the line from South Putnams. I’ve seen some big 1A lines but they usually had some fat boys. These dudes look like a 3A line. I’d like to see the one that looks like Fabios on a toss play in front of the RB.

Week 2 should be a great game:  Lutheran at South Putnam.

This is a great callout.  The Indy Star is picking Sheridan to represent the South in 1A, but they might not even win the sectional.  Monroe Central looked good against Adams Central in last week's scrimmage, which makes sense given all that they bring back from last season.

I'm honestly shocked at how the IndyStar, Coaches, and Media polls all have Sheridan as a big force in 1A.  However, the Sectional realignment made it VERY favorable for Sheridan to win it.

Clinton Central, Clinton Prairie, Cloverdale, Tindley, Irvington Prep, Sheridan, Tri-Central

Sheridan should win that Sectional, even in down years.

I agree with you.  I didn't take into account the realignment.  It will be interesting to see if three of these teams can give Sheridan a game during the regular season.

Go Bulldogs.  The Green Tie needs to make a comeback, along with huge shoulder pads and neck rolls.

With respect to Prairie, they haven't made it necessarily easy on the Hawks in recent years, but their downfall has been not being able to stop the Sheridan offense. A subpar Sheridan offense against a capable Prairie defense, and I know that they(Prairie) could pull it off.

GID voters appear to be split between North Judson and South Putnam.  Will be fun to watch this unfold in the next few weeks.

We'll have more insight on South Putnam after they host Lutheran this weekend.  If this game is as close, either way, as the sectional game last year, then the Eagles will have a pretty strong claim as the favorites.
