This was a really impressive performance. Even though the event is young; to break the world by almost a second is crazy.

#CHUKIT to the FINALS tomorrow seeded 9th.

Ended up 6th!

US goes 1-2-4 in a wet competition.  Exciting finish.

Weed affects reaction time I guess Sha’Carri.

I'd give credit to Alfred. I would also add the silver is the best finish by a US sprinter since 2000.

Taking nothing away from Alfred at all but that race was over from the gun because Richardson was awful out of the blocks.

Most golfers tried downplaying this tournament compared to the Majors, but Scheffler said his goal was to have fun, and it showed. On a side note, American golfers won all the Majors and now the Gold Medal. A final round of 62 is pretty impressive.

Impressive win after losing to Alcaraz at Wimbledon a few weeks ago in what felt like a changing of the guard. I missed the match, but to have the 2 sets go to tie breakers sounds like it was quite a match to see.

First time in history, a 3 time gold medal winner in shot put.

So impressive...did you know that fellow American Joe Kovacs finished 2nd for the silver in those same 3 Olympics behind Crouser?
