It was special to watch Wiffen's emotion during the medal ceremony...being fortunate to travel to there a few times over my career and having a number of Irish friends, I can't explain how important that was to the ROI.  Happy for him and the country!

Nice to see the program return to where it should be; seems to have been a concerted effort to get more youth on the roster. Not sure why, but I have always loved the goal calls on Hispanic broadcasts. 

Korbin Albert also played 2 seasons for Notre Dame.

Here are the issues though.....

1. She has always been a female; raised and lived as one her entire life. 

2. Algeria is 97% Sunni Muslim. It's illegal to be trans. The Algerian government issued her a passport. 

3. 9 boxers have beaten her in her amateur career, so what does it make them? More manly? Or just better boxers? 

4. Her condition does produce a higher level of testosterone in her than other females. 

5. Work in a public setting long enough, especially a school and you see there is more to gender than just xy and xx. There are a number of males who are very feminine, and vice versa...to the point that if I brought a stranger in to see and said guess; it would be difficult to do. 

6. Before the usual suspects attack me over this, I am not one who supports trans athletes competing with others of that gender, especially trans females. There are clear advantages. 

7. The Italian boxer left herself wide open for that shot to the face.

I need someone from the "follow the science" crowd we have heard so much from in the past 4 years to explain basic biology to the class.

Piece of advice:

Don't specify the label "the usual suspects" in your manifesto if you don't want to receive blow back.  You knew what you were asking for.

The way lefties continually move the goal posts on this issue is truly a sight to behold.  They claim to care about "women's rights" when its convenient or fits their narrative...not so much in other cases.

If you don't want to be stuck with the label of usual suspect, don't respond or react like one....you just proved my point....more than once here. 

 

So you believe a doctor and hospital in a country that is 97% Sunni Muslim would write the other gender on a birth certificate? Or their government issue someone claiming to be female that is a biological male a passport? Or they allowed someone to compete on a world stage as a trans athlete? 

Yeah, that makes sense....so much sense.

Her birth certificate says female. Her dad, a Sunni Muslim says she is a female. Her Country's government says she is a female. Why would so many make an exception for just one individual in each of those circumstances?

So has a representative of the IOC,  preferably a medical doctor, confirmed this assertion?
