tango
This could be the week North gets the W it's been looking for. Castle should have no problem against Harrison. Bosse at MD might be closer than people think, but MD is usually pretty tough coming off a loss. Hopefully Central at Memorial will live up to the billing, but recent history would suggest otherwise. The last 2 match-ups have pretty much been over by halftime. Central has a lot of weapons and the Tigers will have their hands full.
Tiger391
North rolls 42-27 MD wins in a close one 28-21 Castle 48-6 If memorial can start clicking on offense like they started to last week and limit the drops they shine this week in a-big matchup with Central. Tigers 24-
vicvinegar
North by a TD MD by 2 scores Castle It gets ugly It should be a good one.... I guess I go with Memorial.
ShakeDownTheThunder
Castle by at least 4 TDs MD by 2 TD North by a TD GOTW- Central and Memorial- Central is a VERY good football team with a lot of weapons that will be a tough out in the tournament, but I just think Memorial is due for a big game after three straight sub-par weeks. Tigers 28-
Tiger391
Does reitz have an answer for McKinney? Reitz is just not very good and I really think North is the better team and rolls
TigerFan20
Easily Castle, 49-7 Mater Dei wins it ugly, 33-19 I like North, Coach P is doing a fantastic job with the program, they end their losing streak against Reitz, 35-24 The big game to determine the SIAC. One of the best games that will happen in the Area. Memorial VS Central. What Central needs to do win the game: Central needs to use all of their weapons if they want to overcome Memorial's Defense. Central's O-line needs to figure away to get stop Memorial's Defense, to let the Evans Brothers and Schutte loose. I've heard the O-line isn't as big as last years, but heard they are pretty physical. Though Memorial is down one key starter, Central, I would not have a moment of relief, as several other key players are still out there. Plus, I have been hearing that Memorial has, lets just say, changed up a position or 2 on their line. Defensively for Central, I would say try to contain Pence and his 4/6 targets he throws too, even though Memorial's Offense isn't like it was last year, they will still do some damage when the breakout. Central's D-line and LB needs to be able to move fast and locate their target or else it will be too late for them to get to. There are still plenty of good WR's on Memorial, which will be hard to contain if they get loose. What Memorial needs to do win the game: The defense needs to contain Central's offensive weapons and Turner, their QB. Memorial's D-line and LB corp needs to penetrate their O line and QB rush before he has anytime to throw or pass. They need to make him unconformable in the pocket. Memorial's corners need to be aware of Central's WR, including Evans and Stewards. Don't overlook Central, Memorial's D-line, they may have lost a lot of their Key starters but they will fight to the bitter end. Though the offense hasn't been the best all season, Memorial still has shone some lit when they are needed the most. Memorial needs to stop dropping passes in the endzone, since they are making games too close to confront. Memorial's O-line needs to give enough time for Pence to either throw it, gave it to McCool or Russel, or scramble to get more yards. They also need to make sure to have no cracks or else Pence will be rushed and most likely be stacked. Some questions for the game: Will Central's O-line be able to keep with an offense like Memorials? Will they be able to contain Combs? Can Memorial expose Central's D-line which has been DOMINANT the last few games? Will it be blowout?(Might be a dumb question, but could happen) Can Central's D line contain Memorial's weapons? Can Memorial's Dline STOP the Central's run game and passing game? How good will the soups be at the Memorial's tailgate tomorrow? Will the game end up in OT? It could be a low scoring game(2016 game) or a high scoring game(2018)?
