They looked impressive against North Side. They punched early and North punched back, but ultimately the Redskins couldn't keep up. They looked like a special team to me at the time as they sliced through North like butter, but then again, they weren't the first team to beat North by multiple scores.

Fishers? They're the epitome of inconsistency. Brownsburg doesn't seem to have any of those down weeks like some of the other programs do. Not counting last seasons epic "down quarter."

What’s sorta scary is that LN didn’t really play all that well last Friday night and still won going away.

Multiple penalties, points taken off the board and turnovers.

They’ve got a lot of speed and skill, especially on the outside, but it will be interesting to see if they can lean on their run game in November, which is inevitable as the weather turns.

Fishers has all of the tools and resources to be successful.  Not disagreeing with your assessment but they are still an ascending program.

Kind of sad that LN has to play Cathedral in the first round. Another case of IHSAA's failed system.  

I still think Fishers is a good team, but like you, I wonder which team will show up.

Brownsburg has proven over the past few years that they are a legit regular season team. No ups and downs like the other schools you named, just regular season excellence. Talent is abundant and it seems like it will continue. I have more faith that Brownsburg will continue this path than the other teams reaching their current level

Yeah, LN will have to play much more disciplined to beat the Irish but I still maintain their up side/ceilng is higher.

Brownsburg's Sophomore QB could be the difference maker. He's good. And he has fast WR's that can get behind a secondary that he has the arm strength to hit. The broadcast I listened to on Friday said he's already getting recruited by Michigan.

Is Brownsburg poised to take over Center Grove's throne as the top 6A program in Central Indiana? It certainly feels like they are knocking on the door. John Hart has posted a 69-18 record during his first eight seasons and his program seems to be getting better and better. In comparison, Eric Moore was 66-31 during his first eight seasons. Great programs aren't built over night.

I can get on board with the premise of this but Moore has been at one place for 25 years whereas Hart has two state titles at previous stops.

Also, Moore had CG making deep postseason runs from day 1.  Took CG to the state finals in his second year and won two additional regionals in his first 5 years.

Hart had AMAZING success at Reitz and Warren and has yet to even sniff that at Brownsburg, specifically in the postseason.

Just crazy to me that a coach at the 6A level has won 81 percent of his games in 9 years and has never advanced past the regional.
