Certainly continues to grow.....getting dirtier.....

https://www.freep.com/story/sports/university-michigan/wolverines/2025/06/27/matt-weiss-jim-harbaugh-santa-ono-hacking-scandal/84393148007/

The most recently filed lawsuit is an amended class-action complaint from 11 women accusing Weiss of hacking into their accounts and stealing personal photos. The original lawsuit was filed on March 21, with at least 74 women eventually joining with lawsuits against Weiss, the university, its board of regents and Keffer Development Services, a software and data storage company.  Ono, Harbaugh and 48 other people currently or previously affiliated with the university have been added to the amended suit. Other newly added defendants include U-M interim president Domenico Grasso, former president Mark Schlissel and athletic director Warde Manuel.

As part of the amended lawsuit, the plaintiffs are accusing the university of allowing Weiss to coach in the 2022 Fiesta Bowl vs. TCU on Dec. 31, 2022, despite already knowing he had illegally accessed private photos.

"The University put the interests of the University football team ahead of those of the victimized female students, further discriminating against the Plaintiffs and Class Members," a court filing released on Friday, June 27, reads.

"Instead, even though it knew Weiss was behind the breach of female student-athletes’ personal, private and intimate images and information, it allowed Weiss to coach in the 2023 national championship semifinal at the Fiesta Bowl. Only after the game, on January 5, 2023, over two weeks after it received notice of Weiss’s conduct, did the University even put the incident on its police blotter."

My personal favorite is Mazi Smith, who was arrested and booked on felony gun charges on Friday October 7th back in 2022 and suited up less than 24 hours later like nothing happened. Wasn't suspended at any point during the season despite later pleading down to a lesser misdemeanor charge.

Just further proof that Michigan thinks they're above the law with zero regard for any rules.

Not salty at all....just says a ton to me about a "man" that repeatedly goes after a comment of a 17 year old.  Guess it makes you feel "good"?  "Big"  I just call it sad....pathetic.

Accountable for those words?  So what.  If those are his worst words, he has a great life ahead.  Perhaps if his words stick with you so much, you might be one that is "thin skinned".  Definitely his words triggered you to the point you can't let it go.

It’s spreading….

I mean, eventually they’ll be right.

I didn't realize misdemeanor reckless driving charges, which more times than not amount to a ticket, is the same thing as a felony gun charge? Less than 24 hours before a game no less.

The hammer MUST be coming!

Vacated wins, probation, and a bowl ban assuredly.

(Oh wait, his dad died 6 weeks ago and he wants to stay closer to home with his mother?)

Damn, that one didn’t hit like you thought it would huh?

Just a week ago, you were judging me for holding young adults accountable, and now you attempt to mimic the troll king (me) with this nonsense?

Do your homework and try harder next time.

You (just like Caden Curry) are winless against your rival.

No doubt.

And I’m the one who lives the sad existence…

yeah....not at all true.  Just saw this announcement on Twitter and simply shared...thinking you might have more insight on the young man's decision.  (i.e., position coach change, more funds at Miami, less depth to contend at Miami, etc)

But, it you want to make it more than was intended...you be you.  Not going to attempt to stop you.

LOL, nice attempt at not getting a running clock put on yourself.

Dozens of kids commit/decommit daily and you chose to highlight a random 4 (247’s 277th ranked player) star DB that left Michigan for Miami.

Just take the L man.

you are 100% delusional man...Really no intention in this case, but you believe how you wish.

Understand this, if I choose to get under you skin, I'll do it and not think twice.  The funny part is that its easy to do, even when there is zero intention.  As I've said in the past...fishing with dynamite....its really unfair.

Good ahead and get in the last word....I'm out.

“Good ahead?”

Maybe you could focus on that IU recurring class…they had a helluva week and a nice pickup or two this past week.

But nope, here you are talking about Michigan like you always do while pretending I don’t own your brain.

You really haven’t gotten much mileage out of that IU win over Michigan last year.  If I were you, I’d squeeze that lemon until there’s nothing left to squeeze.

You’ve now set the precedent.  Every time something happens to Michigan in terms of recruiting, I expect a post.

(By the way, they had a helluva week these last two weeks also, picking up a handful of four stars and are building a top 10 class nationally.)

Not as much fun to post about that though huh?

Sure.  Focus your energy here.  IU’s program is at an all time high and you just wanna talk Michigan.

or perhaps I just like to test psychological models such as cognitive behavioral theory for validity.  Looking pretty strong in your case.....

Nah, 75 percent of your posts on here are intended to “get me.”

Posting a random (barely top 300) recruit’s decommittment from Michigan verifies that.

Pretty certain when I file my taxes next spring I’m going to list you as a dependent.

Just rewatched Michigan’s 13-10 win over OSU from 2024.  Michigan was a 23.5 underdog.

Yep.  Ryan Day is so dumb and deserves sole responsibility for that loss.

Had three Ferrari’s on the outside and yet wanted to prove Lou Holtz wrong again.

The team that wins the rushing yardage battle, wins the game…so he ran into two brick walls (Mason Graham and Kenneth Grant) repeatedly for 60 minutes.

Elite recruiter, actually an elite offensive mind who turtles under pressure, specifically when games are close in the 4th quarter.

Wow.

You asked me if I thought Cignetti was a better Coach than Day. I didn’t answer because I come off like a homer. But I don’t think Day wins at every level like Cignetti to include D2, FCS, Mid major, and P4.  Cig had to earn everything while Day was gifted the keys to a F1 car.  Not to mention he acts like a smug turd.

Day should win with the best players. Give him 2 and 3 stars and let’s see what he does.

AP pre season poll is out. Polls this early are f'ing ridiculous to start with. Not sure how Clemson is so highly ranked.....again. Not sure about Penn State being ahead of Ohio State either.

The B1G is floating a radical new playoff format proposal … and there’s little doubt who it’s aimed at.

https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/45994245/big-ten-floating-idea-24-28-team-cfp-sources-say

The Big Ten has considered an idea of a massive expansion of the College Football Playoff that would grow the postseason to 24 or 28 teams, sources told ESPN.

While the idea is in the very early stages, the proposal eliminates conference title games and offers a large number of auto bids for all four power leagues, sources said.

For example, in the 28-team model, the Big Ten and SEC would each get seven auto bids while the ACC and Big 12 would each receive five. There would be two auto bids for the non-Power 4 conferences and two at-large teams.

Big Ten commissioner Tony Petitti ran the idea by his conference Wednesday, sources said, and that it has begun being shared by others.

The 2025 season will be the second year of the 12-team playoff. College football leaders have been discussing expansion to 16 teams over the past year, but disagreement over the number of at-large teams vs. auto bids has been a sticking point.
