I think the Guard is a more import possition than most give notion too, having the QB pocket collapse from the interior provides more issues than many give credence too, but I understand the premium price for that position is hard to stomach, I don't want to give "richest G contract ever" either, but cannot give bandaides for the Beloved

I don’t disagree about the importance. My point is you can get a good guard - maybe not quite Trey Smith good - but good enough, in the draft or in free agency for a better price.

Oilers

Patriots

I agree with you Sparty....love the Oilers and Pats.  Never understood why the Pats moved away from this logo.

I don't remember the Bengals logo.  Bears either.

When I saw these old logos, the first players that came to my mind.  (fully understand may not have been their logo during their playing days)

Bears - Butkus & Sayers

Bengals - Ken Anderson

Bucs - Lee Roy Selmon and Coach John McKay

Oilers - Earl Campbell and Dan Pastorini

Dolphins - Larry Csonka & Bob Griese

Giants - Frank Gifford and YA Tittle

Pats - Jim Plunkett & John Hannah

Rams - Deacon Jones and entire Fearsome Foursome

Eagles - Harold Carmichael and Bill Bergey  (logo may be more from the Bednarik era)

Jimmy is retiring. I was never a fan of him as a coach. he was the head coach of two of the teams I hated more than any, The Hurricanes and the Cowboys. But as a coach, watching him break things down over the years, I gained a level of respect for him. A friend of mine who is a Cowboys fan and I have this conversation often, that had Jerry been able to keep his ego in check and allow Jimmy to stay, as loaded as that roster was, they could have set records for Super Bowl wins. There are so few coaches who have been able to keep so many egos on a roster in check, but Jimmy could. best of luck in retirement Jimmy; you will be missed, especially since it means even more Gronkowski than we have been getting in the last couple seasons.

Terry is still phenomenal

I am  a big fan of his as well, but do think it is time. I really don't want to see him hang on too long like Lee Corso has.

Sam Hubbard DE for the Bengals retires....huge loss for them.

And if they salary dump (presumably to pay both WR’s) Hendrickson, bengals better be ready to outscore every opponent bc their Defense will suck worse than they already did in 24

Yes he did, but he also did not have the drop off in performance that Rodgers had this past season. He also did not blow out his Achilles

Buckle Up NFL fans

Its going to be WILD week

DaVante Adams 2 years to Rams

Bears signing C From ATL and Most likely sounds like THE RETURN OF THE MACK,  man he has had a great 2 years in LA back to back years.

Josh Allen who had 4 years left on current deal, signed an extension already to make him a $330 Million dollar man, $250 Million Guartateed.

DK Metcalf traded to the Steelers, and gets a new deal worth $30K per year.
