Coach Nowlin Posted February 27, 2025 Posted February 27, 2025 Logical decision for Chiefs Still a chance its a Tag and Trade to someone, Personally, I would not want Bears to give up 10th or both 2nd rounders personally Quote

Coach Nowlin Posted February 27, 2025 Posted February 27, 2025 I think the Guard is a more import possition than most give notion too, having the QB pocket collapse from the interior provides more issues than many give credence too, but I understand the premium price for that position is hard to stomach, I don't want to give "richest G contract ever" either, but cannot give bandaides for the Beloved Quote

My point is you can get a good guard - maybe not quite Trey Smith good - but good enough, in the draft or in free agency for a better price. Quote

Never understood why the Pats moved away from this logo. I don't remember the Bengals logo. Bears either. When I saw these old logos, the first players that came to my mind. (fully understand may not have been their logo during their playing days) Bears - Butkus & Sayers Bengals - Ken Anderson Bucs - Lee Roy Selmon and Coach John McKay Oilers - Earl Campbell and Dan Pastorini Dolphins - Larry Csonka & Bob Griese Giants - Frank Gifford and YA Tittle Pats - Jim Plunkett & John Hannah Rams - Deacon Jones and entire Fearsome Foursome Eagles - Harold Carmichael and Bill Bergey (logo may be more from the Bednarik era) Quote

Irishman Posted March 4, 2025 Author Posted March 4, 2025 Jimmy is retiring. I was never a fan of him as a coach. he was the head coach of two of the teams I hated more than any, The Hurricanes and the Cowboys. But as a coach, watching him break things down over the years, I gained a level of respect for him. A friend of mine who is a Cowboys fan and I have this conversation often, that had Jerry been able to keep his ego in check and allow Jimmy to stay, as loaded as that roster was, they could have set records for Super Bowl wins. There are so few coaches who have been able to keep so many egos on a roster in check, but Jimmy could. best of luck in retirement Jimmy; you will be missed, especially since it means even more Gronkowski than we have been getting in the last couple seasons. 1 Quote

Coach Nowlin Posted March 6, 2025 Posted March 6, 2025 Not sure Bengals draft capitiol, but with some of the moves, seems likely drafting HEAVY defense and hope they hit on it Quote

Coach Nowlin Posted March 9, 2025 Posted March 9, 2025 Buckle Up NFL fans Its going to be WILD week DaVante Adams 2 years to Rams Bears signing C From ATL and Most likely sounds like THE RETURN OF THE MACK, man he has had a great 2 years in LA back to back years. Josh Allen who had 4 years left on current deal, signed an extension already to make him a $330 Million dollar man, $250 Million Guartateed. Quote
