Pittsburgh is playing pretty good upon hearing their coach's job is in jeopardy. Don't we pay these guys to perform like that EVERY week?

Yep, including the postseason.

so you expect perfection in your professional sports viewership?   The other team that Steelers were playing also get paid too.

It's like my dad, after 1 game of Purdue basketball he was ready to phone it in on Oscar Cluff.......   He got a tongue lashing from me, then a reminder since of how dominant he is..........but he too is a guy who expects perfection in his sports,, until I point out his fallacies consistently, then I get the " shut up".   that means I am right in our sports family btw

Not a big fan of the NFL, but I do follow the Steelers. They look like a complete different team since the talk of them parting ways with Tomlin. I don't know anything about Miami to speak intelligently on their playing habits.

I would say the last 2 weeks they're scheduled lighting up a little bit which helps with the matchups

But it's a matchup driven League who's available. When are they available? Skiing versus skiing, coaches versus coaches, weather situations and everything else in between

Touchdown Zach Charbonnet!

Though he finished his career at UCLA, Charbonnet began his career in Ann Arbor and had a career game against Notre Dame (the last meeting between the two) as a true freshman in 2019 in a game the Wolverines would end up winning 45-14.

After starting his career at UMass, Josh Wallace worked on his craft and transferred to Ann Arbor where he became a NATIONAL CHAMPION and had a key forced fumble and red zone touchdown saving tackle in the national semifinal against Alabama…

These days he is just one of 38 Michigan Wolverines making plays in the NFL.

But, but, but “the signs.”

After a knee injury derailed his Heisman campaign in 2022, Blake Corum worked harder than ever on his craft and became a NATIONAL CHAMPION with many huge runs in the Wolverines UNDEFEATED 15-0 championship run.

These days, he’s part of one of the best 1-2 punches in the NFL and has now scored 5 touchdowns in his last 4 games.

But it was obviously, “the signs.”

Congrats to NATIONAL CHAMPION TE AJ Barner who started his career at Indiana but transferred to Michigan as he felt the heaving usage of the tight end position would suit him well.

He is now thriving in the NFL and snagged this TD in last night’s big win over the LA Rams.

And finally, despite it being obvious that Connor Stalions took his Christmas vacation a week early, how about former Michigan defensive coordinator Mike MacDonald who has the Seahawks atop the NFC in just his second season.

The top ranked Seahawks defense obviously missed Stalions in giving up 37 points but still pulled out the victory.

The statement "Cheaters never win" has obviously been disproven.

We're being shown that cheaters do, in fact, win.

Yeah, because perhaps they were drafted based on merit and anyone who knows ball knows that the cheating "scandal" did not provide any statistical advantage.  The proof is in the results.

Had the cheating inflated their abilities would they be succeeding at the next level?

But since @Bash Riprock played 40 years ago he knows better than all...

Not better than all….just way more insight than a Paul Finebaum wannabe…

BTW, at least get my resume complete….long time youth 🏈 coach too.

They probably would have won without cheating, that's the sad part in all this. At least we all know now what I've speculated all along. Harbaugh is another Pete Carroll. Get my championship by any means necessary and get the hell out while leaving the program I was paid millions to run in shambles.

I get that Goodell wants parody in the league. He certainly does have that now when you look at the number of playoff teams from recent seasons that have been eliminated. My contention has been that the quality of the game has been suffering. Proof:

I would add that the teams we follow, if we have tunnel vision, are just not good teams. There might be two teams that have been somewhat consistent most of the season in Buffalo and Denver. But even they have had moments of looking bad.

^^^Goes back to the parity goal of the NFL.

True, but I also think there is a flaw in the formula for scheduling. I think they need to get rid of the part of the schedule that is based on where a team finishes in the division. The Pats are a prime example. Finish low in the division, get a high draft pick. Maybe appears to be the guy at QB for them, and makes them a much better team, but playing a 4th place schedule favored them in a big way.
