How would you rank the top conferences currently?

It's obviously HCC, then the MIC, but how does it go after that?

Is it better if a conference has 1 or 2 great teams, or 4 or 5 quality teams?

My guess:

1. HCC

2. MIC

3. DAC

4. Mid-States

5. SAC

6. Hoosier Heritage

7. SIAC

8. NLC

9. Circle City

10/HM. NIC, Pocket, Conference Indiana, Eastern Indiana, Hoosier Hills, NE8, NW Crossroads

Top 5 small school conferences:

1. Pocket

2. Hoosier Legends

3. Monon

4. Indiana Northern State

5. ACAC or CIC

The NWCC is a weird one—half are good to decent with the other half abysmal.

The Hoosier Hills should be last among larger class conferences and near the bottom overall.

I spent a lot of time deciding on that one. If you wanna make the argument that SAC >>> DAC, you won't see me get bent out of shape about it. Lol

I honestly think it's close. Sagarin says DAC wins 5 of the 8 matchups. But I see a lot of flaws in Sagarin. My gut tells me the SAC wins in a close one. Or maybe they go 4-4.

Agreed on all accounts. I kept landing on a 4-4 split or 5-3 split (either way) so I didn't think I would be hurting too many/ any feelings with my take. The Region folks (my people) get mad at fellow Region folks if we don't blindly back the Region as well so there was that to consider too. 🤣

I'm trying not to be a homer myself. Just calling it as I see it. It's close.
