Ended the season out scoring the Wolves 150-0 and had a winning record with an injury plagued squad. People think they can coach until they have to buddy up to the headset! -Crabtree is going to a 3A darkhorse who might end up being a huge 5A program in the near future. -Earl isn’t leaving NV, Marty Brown promised the NV legend the world to come back. Gotta apply and interview incase all hell breaks loose. Is Earl calling the o or d under Crabtree? Is he the most hyped hire in a long long time? -Austin Petrillo is coaching at SMWC, someone needs to find him a teaching job and get him on their staff best leader I have ever coached. Amazing young man. -One thing I think we all overlook in this conference is the importance in having a good staff. It’s not about calling plays. If you aren’t fundamentally sound, it doesn’t matter how fancy your play calling is. Nowhere yet, but I know from a credible source he’s getting calls and I’m prettt sure he’s an empty nester now, time for a move and make one final run in the flip flops! 1 1
DomerFan78 Posted January 15 Posted January 15 @JacobAllen24 sounds like lack of heart and desire. If you want something you go get it. If a kid from Attica can make it through The Naval Academy, then a kid from NV should be able to go to a bigger school whether he had the learnin he needed or not. Just my humble opinion.

That’s a dumbass opinion and I’ll say it right to your face. He had enough heart and desire to have a nice career at Franklin. 1

Probably the worst take I've seen in the history or the GID. Dude has more heart and desire in his left testicle than you've ever had in your entire body Pat. 2

But he and I can easily agree that @DomerFan78 has no clue what he’s talking about when it comes to the Legendary Jacob Earl. This coming season will be exciting to watch with the shake up that took place all around. One has to wonder if Cronk will build Seeger back into the powerhouse it was during the dynasty days of the early 00’s? Can Sanders keep RP on top and run over everyone again, or will they meet their match at some point in the regular season? Can Earl match, or even exceed, Herb’s success at FC? Will NV have a miraculous rebuild and turnaround? And we have to wonder what kind of year will Crabtree and the HoF Herb have at their respective schools?

I know next to nothing about any of these schools. That’s why I popped in and now I can’t leave. I’m here to learn. Thanks all. 1

If NV would've moved on from Crabtree sooner they could've landed King. They waited too long and missed out on that opportunity though. 1

If you want traction on your site, let grown men have discussions about other grown men, we aren’t talking about children, a firing, or anything negative, lighten up. This thread has gotten more attention than any others this off season. I’m not attaching a news article but Riverton Parke is closing down one of their elementary schools at the end of this year, let’s discuss Parke County’s future. How many Montezuma parents are going to drive all the way to Rosedale instead of Rockville or SV? So when Parke Heritage and Riverton Parke consolidate, what class will they be? Do they stay in the WRC and be a big brother like SV? How do they pick a coach? Is it based off wins? Being a teacher? Must be a neutral party? What about supporting staff? Sanders has 15 assistants and good ones knocking on the door to get in on the fun. Parke Heritage is losing the only coach on staff who has any sort of experience being a coordinator, Rector is going to be a one man band. What do you do with a quarterback like Schelsky coming? Would be the conferences best quarterback next year as an 8th grader. Assuming Charlie will retire, does Rich go find a coach that can get his son a scholarship? How will this community respond? Brad, I know you read this, still waiting to meet and talk over quick game and opening the field up, going to need to spread the field somewhat if you want to play in Lucas oil. If you have Jack Kiser, you can make a run that way, if not you gotta be able to spread it out and get all your athletes involved. I’m ready to be a panther, I’ve officially been ran out of the program I built! Go Panthers! what’s the new mascot going to be? Edited February 15 by BillyBettis Fix
