FW HS Football Posted Monday at 05:35 PM Posted Monday at 05:35 PM Andrean at Luers - Knights by 7. Luers is scheduling two tough opponents to start the season in preparation for another postseason run. Carroll at Center Grove - Chargers by 1. Is this finally the year Carroll gets past the Trojans? Decatur Central at Wayne - Hawks by many. It could be back-to-back shutouts for the Generals. East Noble at Snider - Panthers by 3. There’s no way Snider is losing the opening game in its new stadium after waiting forever to get it built. Concordia at Eastside - Cadets by 10 over Eastbrook. Fortunately, they don't actually play Eastside. Dwenger at St. Francis De Sales (Ohio) - Saints 7–0 in OT. The Saints will try to wear down every opponent this year and then win every game in overtime. North Side at New Haven - North Side by 14. The Legends bounce back with a win. Northrop at Warsaw - Bruins by 7. Northrop vows not to let the Tigers run all over them like they did against Snider last week. South Side at St. Joseph - Huskies by 10. Great start by the Archers last week, but St. Joe's could be a tough matchup. Noblesville at Homestead - Millers by 17. If Sparty is looking for an upset, the defense will have to step up this week. Justasportsfan Posted Monday at 07:39 PM Posted Monday at 07:39 PM Andrean @ Luers- The knightsbhave their work cut out for them this year and the 59ers won't cut em a break. Andrean by 10. Carroll @ Center Grove- Dinan keeps providing the fireworks yet Trojans prove their depth is still too much..for now..Trojans by 14. Decatur Central @ Wayne- DC will be looking to bounce back from the Avon debacle..no better team for that then Wayne. Hawks soar by 28 East Noble @ Snider- Sophomore sensation steamrolled a few panthers last year..don't see them tackling him this year either. East Noble open panther stadium (sounds better than the ike) with a W. Knights by 16. Concordia @Eastside- Concordia found a much needed win last week, unfortunately they run into an Eastside who might just be a tad bit tougher at home..Blazers by 6. Dwenger @ St. Francis- Dwenger proved the cabinet is not bare..with a long snapper going to Miami next year they have the athletes..Knights vs Saints rd 1 with the Knights pulling off a squeaker by 4. North side @ New haven- maybe the Legends let a quarterback play quarterback this week. Even if they don't, the athletes will out produce schematics. Legends by 13. Northrop @ Warsaw- Bruins have a new coach who might understand a qb is a qb and allow his highly recruited playmakers to do what they do. Bruins make a statement and win by 14. South side @ St Joseph- South gave their fan base a jolt last week, hopefully it translates to them traveling better..unfortunately St Joseph and their preseason player of the year know the game is won on the field and in the trenches..huskies by 21 Noblesville @ Homestead- Dont worry sparty, basketball season is only a few months away..Millers by 28.. Basketball Concordia plays the Eastbrook Panthers and not the Eastside Blazers this week. Eastside and Adams Central are matched up in a great game in Monroe. 1 Quote

23andCounting Posted Monday at 11:41 PM Posted Monday at 11:41 PM Good grief. Some tough games that could go either way. Andrean at Luers - 14+ Carroll at Center Grove - Close game............I think Decatur Central at Wayne - Blowout East Noble at Snider - Close game Concordia at Eastside - Double Digits Dwenger at St. Francis De Sales (Ohio) - Throwing darts North Side at New Haven - Double digits if the players are still in tact Northrop at Warsaw - First game as a head coach going up against "Bart Ball"? No thanks. South Side at St. Joseph - Close game Noblesville at Homestead - Close game Quote

IPFWFootball Posted Wednesday at 02:45 PM Posted Wednesday at 02:45 PM Andrean at Luers...Tough opening games for Luers, good for them to get battle tested early. Will find some wins later in the year for sure...Andrean by 3 Carroll at Center Grove...Chargers sent a big message in Week 1...another big game this week should get them in the conversation of 6A favorites...Chargers by 7 Decatur Central at Wayne...DC has been a solid program as of late, hoping Wayne can keep morale up during a brutal 4 week stretch to start the year...Decatur by 28 East Noble at Snider...East Noble took care of business at home last week, another win over an SAC team would be huge. Snider blew the game last week, if they can't win the debut at the "Ike", they could be in danger of another below .500 season...Snider by 1 Concordia at Eastbrook...Cadets had a great win last week, don't know much about Eastbrook so staying local here...Cadets by 2 Dwenger at St. Francis De Sales (Ohio)...I have a lot of the same questions/feelings about this Saints team after week 1 as I did last year. Defense looks the part, offense has a lot they need to figure out, really concerned on the Special Teams this year though. That being said I think they go on the road and get it done...BD by 10 North Side at New Haven...as if the on the field let down wasn't enough they needed to overcome, the off field fiasco in the halls of North Side could derail the week. But it could also force the team/remaining staff to lock in and focus on things within their control, this is a good matchup for that as the talent gap should be overwhelming no matter who starts at QB...North by 21 Northrop at Warsaw...with no chance to see how the Bruins looked in week 1, going in blind. Think Bart ball prevails...Warsaw by 14 South Side at St. Joseph...great program win for the Archers...but SBSJ is a different animal, especially on the road...St.Joe by 30 Noblesville at Homestead...hopefully this game gives us a better look at what Homestead could be this year, but better matchup than having to face the #2 team in the state...Homestead by 3 Quote

GOLDRUSH1985 Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Did not see Center Grove putting it on Carroll like that . Is HSE that weak this year? Quote

Let's not forget that it was just 14-11 at halftime. There's not a team in Indiana that would want to face Center Grove at home coming off of a loss, especially when you have to drive 3 hours to get there. Carroll is good, but my "pump the brakes" comment last week was warranted. Quote

When they expanded that campus..it was more of a "if we build it they will come sentiment". Before Carroll did what they did some might say sparty had the best campus/stadium in the area? Quote

Football stadium is aging though, but still a good venue. Homestead does sports as well as anyone in the state. Good balance across the board. Quote

That is an egregious of a mistake as I've seen in any poll put out so far this season. Quote
