Concordia at Northrop - Northrop's collection of talent is getting it done so far. Bruins by a bunch.

Dwenger at Homestead - This one is close, but Dwenger's D steps up in the end. Saints by 3

Luers at North Side - The Knights are struggling. Injuries and transfer portal taking it's toll. North Side by a lot.

Snider at Carroll - Dinan's machine continues to roll. Chargers by 28.

Wayne at South Side - Archers are rolling. Generals won't be a threat. Archers easily go to 3-2.

Concordia at Northrop...Northrop is showing that last year wasn't a fluke...Bruins by 30

Dwenger at Homestead...Saints got punched in the mouth pretty good on Friday time to see if they can bounce back through the meat of their schedule. Sparty also needs one bad, a loss here could derail the season, not many win opportunities left ahead of them...BD by 7

Luers at North Side...rough year for Luers, North should handle this one easily but you never know with them....Legends by 25

Snider at Carroll...watching Carroll live last week, they are far and away a step above everyone else in the city...Chargers by 21

Wayne at South Side...I love to see South Side being a fun team, what would normally be a dogfight for the bottom of the league could be a chance for the Archers to be above .500 for the first time since 2009...South by 28

Never, ever count on Sparty to do jack crap in football. Once in a blue moon they win a supposed toss up game, come sectionals, goodbye…

Not since the gr8 Rhinehart!! Almost 3 decades..they gotta be due!! 20 years ago Brownsburg couldn't get past Avon..Maybe with Warsaw Noblesville and Northrop in their sectional?? If a redrawn alignment would bless them ever so heavenly!? So many kids and resources..Does the AD not care? Why hasn't skrownksi jersey not been retired yet? Put me on the school board for crying out loud!!

Concordia @ Northrop- Cadets attempted to put points on the board last week, good thing for them with the playoffs hope springs eternal. Bruins put the area on notice last week and are gearing up for a collision with Carroll…they win by 35

Dwenger @ Homestead- “you see rock, he’s not a machine, he’s a man,” Saints showed their mortality last week and sparty would be wise to dissect n replicate that game film. They finally show the city 6A programs do 6A things..Spartans by 7

Luers @ Northside- keep the main things the main things as the new head coach said, appearing as if it was an embattled franchise during an NFL presser..penalties have been their main thing for awhile now and that lets the Knights remain close through half..then they just throw it up to the dynamo Wr..Legends by 11

Snider @ Carroll- one of the best running backs to ever come through sni high will see this Friday as an epitome of his tenure with the Panthers..no matter what  he does, he can’t force his team to make tackles..Dinan shows no mercy with his former co worker and sweeps the leg..over..and over..Chargers win by 35..

Wayne @ Southside- kudos to the Archers for showing they own Calhoun..that rb they have may be the best in the city..Generals only shot is to put their D1 DE in the backfield and let him wreak havoc..if I gotta help game plan coach, you’ve already lost..Archers by 8..

Braylon Burton. He's only a junior, so there's still potential to hit that "best running back ever" category. Let's make a case for him:

Freshman season: Averaged 53 yards per game. I don't remember a running back in the history of Snider's program who had more carries their freshman year.

Sophomore season: I don't have the stats on this, but he didn't have a good offensive line in front of him. He also sat out the the first few games of the season.

This season: Offensive line is better as we're seeing some pretty decent stats so far. Bizarre that this kid doesn't have any offers yet. He passes the eye test. It's no wonder St. Francis has fallen off the map these days. If Marion comes calling, I'd go there. But the potential for this kid might be higher than that.

Next year: His breakout season. There are some dudes coming up on the offensive line that should help his cause. Colleges, if they're not stupid, will start taking interest.

Yes..not many start as a freshman..last year derailed his stat line..when was the last time u seen a freshman start in the backfield at sni high? Not saying he is the best, his name would be added to the list higher than it will be if he wasn’t there during this abysmal line play.

Facebook reminded me that it is Luers North Side over Luers South Side tonight.  So many defects to the Legendary Redskins.
