1 yard td run, Panthers intercept Carroll on the third play and drive right down the field

GC went three and out deep in their end to open the game, and South drove 40 yards in three plays for the TD. PAT was missed.

Bishop Dwenger went 3 and out then committed a couple costly penalties allowing Homestead to drive down the field yet the Saint provided a red zone stop as sparty missed a close field goal.

After another three and out by GC, South scored in a 43-yard pass play. South went for two but was called for holding and then after yet another holding call, they still went for two which was unsuccessful.

South scored on a four-yard TD run. Despite having 30 yards in penalties in the 1st, they have dominated play. GC's only first down so far has been via the penalty.

After returning a pick to the GC 35-yard line, South eventually scored on a 5-yard run.

There will be a running clock to start the second half with South due to receive the ball. I haven't seen the stats, but I'm certain that GC has negative rushing yards in the first half, and they have two first downs, one via the penalty and the other on a short run.

Carmel had 2 first half turnovers in the red zone.  LN capitalized on each of the next drives with long TDs.  Also, complete lack of discipline for Carmel so far.  They look nothing like a Kevin Wright coached team tonight.
