6A #3 Brownsburg @ 6A #5 Ben Davis

Recommended Posts

I'm thinking the Giants will be on the "revenge" tour when they seek to reverse the Brownsburg and Avon losses from last season.  Brownsburg is getting some lofty praise this year, we'll see if they can live up to their press clippings. Should be a fairly high scoring game.

Splat

BD was never in this one. Brownsburg looked like it was in midseason form. They played a great game. Pure dismantling.

We'll see where BD goes from here. It doesn't get any easier at any time this year for BD, so they'll have to fix this on the fly like they did last year.

What happened to BD?? I thought it would be competitive. I saw bits and pieces of the game and every time I had it on, Brownsburg was picking off a pass.

It wasn't pretty.

When will BD man up and admit they have a big coaching problem?

The program has no identity.

It rarely develops high level D1 talent

Big problems

Are they fixable with the right leadership?

I know you're here to stir the pot. Wash, rinse, repeat.

Perhaps.  But Im sure many others have the same questions about the current state of the BD program.

Like it or not, you and your purple gang on the west side carry the National high school football flag for all of us in Indiana.  When high school football fans in the know nationally think about Indiana HS football, they think first about Ben Davis.

Are numbers down?

Is talent down?

Are there issues with the feeder system?

Is there staff turnover?

Is BD vaunted weight program faltering?

Are the kids getting slower from too many donuts and twinkees and fruit snacks?

Is community support slipping?

Do the current principal and his staff like football, or do they favor girls basketball?

Is anyone questioning the coaches credientials, his actual won-lost record?
