You lost by 20 to a team North beat by 42. No more from me.

I'm not going to argue with you about this. It doesn't matter. I made my vote pretty clear. I want those teams in the HHC.

More conference realignment tonight as a brand new conference called the Eastern Crossroads Conference is set to form in east-central Indiana. Four schools are committed (Eastern Hancock, Lapel, New Castle, and Shenandoah). Invites have been sent out to three schools (Centerville, Delta, and Northeastern). I’m really curious to see if any or all those three accept invites. If not, I imagine the ECC will look for schools to invite. Also curious to know if the ECC will look for an eighth member.

Depending on how this goes, we could see a domino effect that reaches down to the HHC. Do Rushville and/or Connersville eventually get an invite? If they do and they accept then that opens the door for the EIAC to replace them which means Jennings County could be an option. Not saying this happens but it’s something to keep an eye on.

Just to follow up, one trusted source is saying Rushville and Connersville were invited to join the conference initially but declined. The EIAC is pretty tight which means Jennings County isn’t going anywhere even if they have one foot out the door. There are still a number of scenarios the could happen eventually but they don’t look likely at the moment.

Light atmosphere here at FC tonight. Fall break. No marching band. No Dazzlers. Most of the students and families in Florida. Lol. Crazy. But against 2 bad teams they had a full house. Good week for BNL to come down.

Per my pick, I’m confident FC can overcome all the obstacles that have been placed in front of them……but the Dazzler loss will no doubt cast a long dark shadow over the halftime show.

I wasn't making a built in excuse. I just hate that the atmosphere for a big game isnt here.

17-10. FC should be up 24-10. Stone threw the ball into the endzone at the 1. Not sure if he was in. They called a touchback. Stupid play anyways.

Terrible end of the first half for Jennings County. Already down 10-7, they gave up 14 points in less than two minutes thanks to a fumble deep in their own territory.

Seymour leads 24-7 at the half.

Seymour scores a TD just before the end of the third quarter but the PAT was blocked. Owls lead 30-7 after three.

Heading for the exit. The wife has had enough. Something about getting old and having a bad back. Nobody warned me my young girlfriend would be an old wife one day.

My old shop teacher used to say:

”Now boys, when you start getting serious about a girl, take a good hard look at mom. Cause in about 30 years that’s what you’re going to have. Always remember that boys.”

I’m not going to lie, a rare Friday night at home for me….. I could get used to this. I am listening to the Owls/Panthers on the radio.
