Feels like every year more and more teams are going outside of the state for tough competition 

 

maybe the 300 mile rule goes away at some point

Half of it has already gone away. Used to be, not only couldn’t an Indiana team travel more than 300 mi. from the state line, but you couldn’t play a team from beyond that distance even if the game was in Indiana. Now the 300 mi. limit only applies to travel.

Watching the live stream….big plays in the 1st Qtr took over…but other than that, the defense looked really good.  And #8 or #5 whichever it was was held in check after the 1st quarter.  
 

losses suck..but I’ll take 1 bad qtr on the 1st game of the year followed by 3 great Qtrs against a great team to set the tone for the rest of the year.  

South Warren in a couple of weeks, and they will be just as difficult

Funny fact , if you’re talking about south warren out of Kentucky, their head coach was boyles starting QB back in the early 2000s when they won 5 state championship in a row.
