usually what happens when business becomes personal for certain people

Some of my coaching friends in the conference don't agree with me, but I would have liked to see VL in the PAC. I also think it would have done a lot to help their program.

Hearing from a very reliable source we are going to see some changes in the SIAC going forward with what schools are going to be involved. Can't say rumors of who but be prepared for an announcement very soon on some changes.

Will be tuned in for this for whatever it is.

I'd prefer VL stayed and we switched to two divisions: the 5 EVSC Schools in one division and Memorial, Mater Dei, Jasper, Castle and VL in the other.

Don’t think that will happen. But my guess is Vincennes leaves within a year or two and the remaining SIAC teams will have an open week to schedule non-conference games.

Divisions + Championship week would be fun.

Anyone have more intel on this?    Would it be just VL moving out or anyone being added to the SIAC?

The conference has reached out about schools joining but no one that makes geographical sense have responded. I think they will just ride with 9 schools and play one out of conference game each year. VL might still play some of the SIAC schools but not everyone.

Hear me out. The G(reat)SIAC.

8 conference games and one week 9 championship crossover.

West:

Your current 9 SIAC schools.

East:

The 7 Hoosier Hills schools with Silver Creek and Providence (or Columbus North if they get over that thing where them and East can't be in the same conference).

Crown the champions of south every year in week 9.
