Could be a number of things. Who knows? The last few years have been light on injuries. The last heavy year was the 0-10 season of 2021. Went through about 4 quarterbacks that year. It doesn’t seem to affect other sports, so I’d be very hesitant to say the kids need to be tougher. Seems to me the injuries they’ve had the last half decade are an ACL here and a broken collarbone there. Just things you can’t really control when you sign up to play. When the enrollment is down to 250, an injury hurts worse than even a school with 375

You never want to take Bishop Chatard lightly no matter who's on the field. This is a neighborhood battle and I expect that to be the case tonight also. A side note, the last Irish game I missed before last week, and streamed, the Irish beat Center Grove last season. Maybe it's best for me to be a keyboard jockey rather than a spectator.☺️

Northrop by 13? Lol, not happening. Gimmie Homestead by 13.

It is a shame what is happening at South Bend Washington. For years they were a power, but not for the last 20 years. What can be done? I do not have the answer, but for Harrell to predict this. My oh, my!

Team A lines up for a 2 pt. try. A3 takes the handoff and fumbles. The ball is lying at rest on the 2 yd. line. B2 attempts to recover it, but muffs it and it goes into the end zone, where B6 falls on it. B2’s muff is a new force which was responsible for the ball being in B’s end zone where it was declared dead in B’s possession. Result is a safety. 1 pt. because it was during a try.

Seems to be a recurring theme with NM every year, when they are good or bad. Why do you think that is? Do the kids need to get tougher? Just bad luck for Coach Grant and the Warriors or what? -
They had to do something to get their mojo going..the "we don't lose at home" went out the window week 2..maybe we don't lose in these uni's will work..? Lol

In the table for Rule 8-1 "Point Values" it says that when a team tries for the point(s) after a TD that the touchdown (2 point play) is worth 2 points, and a field goal or safety is worth 1 point. Field goal is kicking the EP, but how would a 1 point safety be awarded. I've seen 1 point safety in multiple college games, but I thought it was impossible in high school since a ball is dead in the end zone when the defense obtains possession through an interception or recovery of a ball fumbled into the end zone?

Carroll @ Dwenger- possible sac championship..yes folks..things happen..Saints have shown they're an elite 4a program once again, however Dinan proves his scheme can outlast the cyo in september..Chargers by 10 Northside @ Concordia- Legents were served some humble pie last week at homecoming, cadets won't be too keen on their dance moves at zollner..neither will I..Legends cruise by 28.. Southside @ Luers- calhoun street brawl is what fall is all about..Archers snuck one in last year just as they did with a few scores at sparty..The knights play keep away and save the cyo from going 0-2 this week..Knights by 6. Homestead @ Northrop- both programs have yet to be full strength this season..sparty gets back a massive lineman while the Bruins hope their next D1 recruit can go this week..Bruins show they are legit even without him, heck even their freshmen make plays..they win by 13 Snider @ Wayne- all the kings horses and all the kings men couldn't put the mighty panthers together again..the generals show fight and put up a good show for their avid 10 person cheer block as the Panthers scrape together a 16 point win as another possible sub .500 season looms..

“Real” gold is the only …well, real shade of gold. The others are gold-ish.
