Yet Bradley "Chelsea" Manning served 7 years of the 35 years he/she was convicted in 2010 until President Obama commuted his/her sentence. He/she stole the classified material and Mr. Assange (via WikiLeaks) published it. FYI - this is much more than his actions with the US, he was worldwide. Mr. Assange confined himself in 2010 to protect himself from a Sweden arrest warrant (among others) for computer hacking dating back to 1996 - even earlier in Australia. Mr. Assange, though many in the "free speech" world loved his "leaks" of sensitive information he gleaned using his ILLEGAL tradecraft, he was/is still just that - a criminal and had/has no remorse, nor intention of stopping. So - (IMHO) he needs to face a court of law and answer for his crimes. Chances are, had he done this back in 2010, he may have been finished with all this in 2017 and gotten back to his old ways.

They played West Lafayette 5-6 years ago. WL won in Crete while Crete destroyed them the following year at Ross-Ade Stadium, no less.

I'd agree that's a nice matchup for top end DAC and other Region teams who can be defined as "competitive." Crete on a down year is getable by the LC's of the world. On a year when they're pretty good, idk if any more than 3-4 Region teams would be able to compete with them. I agree with ya though Gipper, better matchup year in and year out than some other games we've seen with longer travel.

Funny, Kenton's name came up at lunch today. The dude would be running fast and people that didn't know any better would say "wow, he's fast", and then he would go up 2 more gears. He was a freak athlete.

We are looking forward to something different. Tell City should not have been on our schedule the next year after we were not in the same conference. Glad we finally moved on.
