  1. For those who have not heard, my family and I have decided that the time is right for a change. My wife has wanted to live in Florida for quite some time, but I have always had an excuse of why to not make the move. My son graduated in May, and with that a lot of those reasons disappeared. That being said, I am leaving Roncalli after 23 years. We are in the process of moving to Cape Coral, Florida and I will start teaching and coaching at Charlotte High School in Punta Gorda. My time in Indy was phenomenal - both the experiences and the people that I have had the honor to be associated with. I truly hope that I have left things at Roncalli in a better position than when I arrived and have had a positive impact on all in the football community! Keep making Indiana football better - always raise the bar, never lower it! Coach Stryker

  2. Just passing along what the Jay County attorney had told me. He does have the designs/drawings though of AC, SA, & Jay County. Yes, it would go to other aspects of the school as you mentioned. I am probably in the minority, but I'd rather have grass for all the aspects you mentioned. Might be more upkeep as is, but I think it would be better on the bodies for those participating on it. Plus the SAC should be used for some of the activities mentioned if they can't practice on their respective fields. The SAC definitely was done differently than those lobbying for it had requested in the beginning. Nice facility for sure but eliminated a good deal of parking for events.

  3. While I didn't give you the glowing positive review @Muda69 gave me in a previous thread, you're a solid #2 on the GID.

  5. I don’t think AC looked nearly as deep into turf as you’re implying. Also, dollars going towards a turf field would be much more than an investment in the football program. Outside of potential maintenance savings, dollars spent on turf would also be an investment in baseball, softball, PE, band and would provide the K-12 students a wider range of opportunities.

  6. I believe Kramer, Meyer, Neukam and Gerber were all seniors last year. Harris, Arroyo and Kerkhoff were juniors. Taylor was a sophomore... at least thats what hudl shows...

  8. Yeah I saw Shelbyville has played in seven sectional championship games in their history and lost all seven. They either ran into Columbus East or East Central and then there was a year with Roncalli and the year with that legendary Seymour team.
