  1. Why you decided to limit the conversation to government entities is unclear. The elimination of express de jure racism (e.g., actual laws establishing separate schools for white kids and black kids) doesn't mean de facto racism magically disappeared.

  2. Yes, it is not racist to acknowledge that people of color are less privileged in our society. I know you want to try to twist that into a statement about the person's inherent worth or status, which it is not. It is a statement about how certain people are treated in our society based on something (skin color) that has zero to do with their inherent worth or status, but which nonetheless causes them to be less privileged (face disadvantages). The advantages you have as a white person in America are too numerous to list. But if you are honestly interested in learning, you can start with this example and go from there: https://hbswk.hbs.edu/item/minorities-who-whiten-job-resumes-get-more-interviews

  3. Am I the only one who thinks this team plays better without Romeo?

  4. I have to commend the Corydon Central football staff (Aaron Humphrey, Jason Timberlake, Joby Turner). Their staff and ours met to pick each others brains. Discussed everything from program development, parent communication, strength/conditioning, game planning, drills, practice planning, and more). Probably one of the most productive learning days I have ever had as a coach. Been to Nike COY, Glaziers, College Staff Visits, IFCA Clinic and this was a great day of self scouting and collaboration. I definitely think they will be an improved team. I will be watching results and cheering for the Panthers.

  5. Until such time as the whole Mr. Football “thing” really gives serious and legitimate consideration to lineman it’s, as often as not, a glorified skilled position player popularity contest. Personally, I think Bell is probably a better talent BUT Notre Dame didn’t....they chose Kiser. My guess is that they know a helluva better than I do. Until Purdue (whom I love) is spoken in the same breath as Notre Dame (whom I.....well....don’t love....I was going to make some snide comment about loving them like I love venereal disease but I won’t do that) then I think Notre Dame’s opinion trumps mine. That said, I’ve just never cared one way or the other about Mr. Football. Amazes me all the heartburn it causes folks.

  6. So lemme get this straight. If a small school coach votes for a small school player it’s biased...but if a big school coach votes for a big school player it’s not?
