  1. Were the games last week listed as 3 point games or 2 point games? Never mind this post I screwed up the math.
  2. I went 11-4 last week and 217 plus 33 equals 240 points.
  3. Well obviously Owen Valley was the better team tonight, I'm asking for a breakdown of how the game transpired and what Owen Valley did well and what Gibson Southern didn't do well in the game.
  4. What happened to Gibson Southern tonight? I'm absolutely shocked at this final score.
  5. Upsets happen every year in the tournament, but I have a better chance of replacing Shaquille Leonard in the Colts' starting lineup than Anderson does beating North Side on Friday.
  6. North -14.5 Castle -28.5 Memorial +7.5 Reitz -15.5 Owen Valley +12.5 West Vigo +6.5 Southridge -35.5 Heritage Hills -3.5 Paoli +13.5 Mater Dei -31.5
  7. Roncalli has to be kicking themselves for losing in the regional last season to Mount Vernon. Otherwise, they'd be the favorites to win the 5A state title this season and wouldn't have to go through New Palestine to be state champions.
  8. Chatard Kokomo West Lafayette Lafayette Central Catholic Rochester Tipton Zionsville Plainfield Northridge Gibson Southern Andrean North Vermillion Brebeuf Sullivan Warsaw
  9. Speedway Sullivan Triton Central Scecina Lutheran
  10. Columbus North Bloomington North Bloomington South Evansville North Castle Martinsville
  11. I think whoever wins the Fort Wayne North at Fort Wayne Snider game in the sectional finals wins the state championship. I tend to think that Snider wins that game based off of previous tournament history. Whiteland should make it to Lucas Oil Stadium from the south side of the bracket, but Franklin and Bloomington South will give them tough challenges.
  12. My Picks: Sectional Champs: Crown Point Carroll Hamilton SE Carmel Brownsburg Cathedral Warren Central Center Grove Regional Champs: Carroll Carmel Cathedral Center Grove Semi-State Champs: Carmel Center Grove State Champion: Center Grove The biggest storyline in the 6A tournament to me is: Can a Hoosier Crossroads Conference team finally win a state championship in the largest classification for the first time since Fishers in 2010? However, until I see one of those teams finally win class 6A, then I am going to give Center Grove, Carmel, Cathedral, and Ben Davis the benefit of the doubt over them. I think there's a very strong chance the winner of the Center Grove-Cathedral rematch wins its third consecutive state title.
  13. Memorial -30.5 Harrison +12.5 Reitz -42.5 Gibson Southern -14.5 Perry Central +24.5 Owen Valley -7.5 Pike Central +13.5 Southridge -20.5 Forest Park +21.5 Tecumseh +27.5
  14. How did Merrillville get blown out by Chesterton last Friday?
  15. Bedford North Lawrence Jennings County

  19. Avon by 3 over Noblesville Brownsburg by 7 over HSE Fishers by 10 over Zionsville Westfield by 17 over Franklin Central
  20. Ben Davis by 35 over North Central Center Grove 35, Cathedral 28 Carmel by 10 over LC LN by 7 over Pike Two weeks ago Christian Brothers came to Indianapolis and beat the hell out of Chatard 55-24. Now Warren Central has to make the 4 hour drive to St. Louis. Christian Brothers by 21 over Warren Central.
  21. Brownsburg Eastern Greene Elkhart Evansville Reitz Fishers Center Grove Roncalli Carroll (Flora) Western Boone Northwestern
  22. Tipton Hamilton Heights Cass Northwestern West Lafayette North Newton West Central Seeger Kokomo Carroll (Flora)
  23. Castle +3.5 Bosse +14.5 North -28.5 Reitz -9.5 Jasper +2.5 Gibson Southern -17.5 North Posey -31.5 Forest Park +41.5 South Spencer +9.5 Mount Vernon -21.5
  24. As good of a quarterback as Bryson Luter is, I think freshman Terry Walker III is even better. Over the summer, he competed in a national competition for freshman quarterbacks and finished in the top 4. Next summer I expect him to start receiving power 5 offers as he visits different camps and colleges.
  25. No way that a team that lost at home to LN by 3 touchdowns beats Center Grove in the playoffs.
