  6. My 4A Top 10 After Week 4: 1. Roncalli 2. Mooresville 3. Leo 4. Jasper 5. Evansville Memorial 6. Chatard 7. East Central 8. East Noble 9. Northridge 10. Hobart
  7. Twin Lakes Western Lewis Cass West Lafayette Covington Tipton Winamac Eastern
  8. Also Daviess County over Floyd Central. I don't know why this damn website doesn't allow you to edit your posts.
  9. Week 4 Picks: Columbus East over Jennings County Mount Vernon (Posey) over Jeffersonville New Albany over Bedford North Lawrence
  10. Brownsburg at Avon: Two teams going in completely opposite directions. Brownsburg has done a great job replacing all of the talent they lost to graduation. I expected a drop off from Avon, but not even close to this degree. Brownsburg 42, Avon 14. HSE at Fishers: The best game in the state this week. The most electric atmosphere of any high school football game in Central Indiana. I'll go with HSE 28, Fishers 21, but quite a few good HSE teams have traveled across town to Fishers and gotten upset over the years. Noblesville at Westfield: If Westfield's defense is able to hold Cathedral to 14 points, then I expect their defense to be able to stack the box and slow down Noblesville's rushing attack. Due to the rivalry aspect of this game, I expect Noblesville to keep it close for the first half before Westfield eventually wears them down and pulls away late. Westfield 31, Noblesville 14. Zionsville at Franklin Central: This is a trap game for Zionsville. Jayson West already has Franklin Central much more competitive against really good teams, as evidenced by the Roncalli and Brownsburg games. Zionsville's coach has to get the message across to his team in practice this week that if they aren't focused and ready to play on Friday, they'll get beat. Assuming Zionsville doesn't look past Franklin Central, I expect Zionsville's physicality at the line of scrimmage to lead Zionsville to a 27-17 victory over Franklin Central. The HCC games this week are definitely more interesting than the MIC games this week.
  11. Easy week to make picks for the MIC. Warren Central, Center Grove, Carmel, and LN should have no trouble winning this week.
  12. Hamilton Heights Tipton Rensselaer Central West Lafayette Western Clinton Central Harrison Bloomington South
  13. They need to drug test the person who gave Merrillville a first place vote instead of Center Grove.
  14. Warren and Ben Davis both win in dominant fashion. Center Grove over Carmel by 21 LN over LC by 14
  15. Cass Rensselaer Central Lafayette Central Catholic Tipton West Lafayette North Judson Clinton Central Sheridan
  16. Agree with you on Central. But Memorial should take care of that when they beat Central on Friday night. Surprised Central was ever ranked to start with considering how much they lost to graduation. It will be interesting to see how Bosse responds to having a taste of success.
  17. Memorial should easily be in the 4A top 10. And Mater Dei should be #2 in 2A behind only Fort Wayne Luers. A Luers-Mater Dei title game would be a terrific football game.
  18. Columbus East Jeffersonville New Albany Floyd Central
  19. I think the North Central Conference is the answer to that question.
  20. Warren will dominate this game from start to finish. North Central graduated something like 40 seniors and this is a rebuilding year for them. The big test for Warren will be the showdown with Ben Davis in week 5. Can't wait for that game.
  21. My 3A rankings after week 2: 1. Gibson Southern 2. Brebeuf 3. West Lafayette 4. Danville 5. Tri-West 6. Lawrenceburg 7-10 I have no idea. Western Boone, Guerin Catholic, and Mishawaka Marian all getting upset really threw a wrench into things. Those are the only spots in the rankings I have no idea how to rank in all 6 classes. I still think Western Boone has a really good team and will be a tough out in Sectional 28.
  22. Yeah I probably have Chatard ranked too low. My bad on that. I overreacted to the Brebeuf loss. But after seeing that Brebeuf blew out New Palestine and how competitive Chatard was against Warren Central, I moved Chatard up in my 4A poll. I moved them ahead of East Noble and now have them tied with Evansville Memorial at sixth. The only reason I don't have Chatard higher than that is because of how good I think the teams that I have ranked above them are. I won't drop Chatard in my 4A poll regardless of the results against Roncalli and Cathedral because of how good those teams are. The Evansville Mater Dei-Evansville Memorial game in week 4 will break the tie between Evansville Memorial and Chatard for me. My 4A top 10 after week 2: 1. Roncalli 2. Mooresville 3. Leo 4. Jasper 5. East Central Tied for 6. Evansville Memorial and Chatard 8. East Noble 9. Northridge 10. Hobart
  23. The Hoosier Hills Conference is definitely down this season, but I think the worst football conference in Indiana between 4A-6A is the North Central Conference.
