This is so weird because hasn't Mac a few NFL players come out of that school correct? I don't recall many NBA players. Yes they are usually more successful in basketball but I wouldn't call them a "basketball" school.

You hate to see things like this. It overshadows the great work that the players and teams put into this season. Too much recently on the GID we see things like this or coaches that abuse authority. These things are difficult to stomach at times hopefully we can move forward and not spread hate on this and not put down an entire program on the actions of one person.

I am late to the party but better late then never

I wouldn't be opposed to seeing histories of High School teams. When they started coaches they have had. Notable alumni. I know this would make for a much larger book, but I think that if teams have played football in the state they should have at least a brief history of them given.

So I know I am getting older and don't see as well but for the North was there really only 1 Lewellen that made the team?

I get those as well but the number of kids has dropped drastically and from talking with teachers in the building it's the kids bringing it into the buildings. I teach at Kokomo and for a school our size we haven't had near the issues with it.

Nope, Nope, Nope. I am so glad that we played this year. If they didn't want to deal with issues like this then they should have taken the chance and allowed their student athletes to play.

Does this run the risk of high schools "Tanking" to drop a class to have more success? I didn't see that on this thread in any other post, unless I missed it. Also how does the IHSAA combat "Tanking"?

Lot's of spread teams West Lafayette is always solid and there is a lot of ebb and flow in both divisions. This is a terrible cliff notes of the HC, but I feel like this could sum it up accurately.

I was on staff at Kokomo two seasons ago and the week we played Plymouth was during the Blueberry Festival. That is not fun for parking, or trying to navigate a team to the field when they are loading up those trollys.

First off if by "Patriots" you mean protecting Title IX and women's sports... So be it. Also your second statement about a child or grandchild being transgender comes off like your wishing cancer on someone.

Understandable, but at the same time this topic is still relevant to all high school sports because going forward what happens with this could impact all of sports. Including football.

So the only reason we should talk about this is if Indiana beings to offer High School Women's football. That is the only way this can be relevant?

You said it better then I could. But I agree with this and I spoke with my wife at length about this at lunch she coaches girls basketball and she thinks that what you said is probably the best way to approach this, its not perfect but it is a start.

How would you handle the transgender issue in sports? If my answer is not pertinent to the argument please let me know what is the correct way to speak on this topic.

We are missing the point of this argument again. This is not about God right now it is about if it is fair for Transgender athletes and if this is detrimental to women's sports. If you want to argument the more and biblical aspect then take that to OOB but come on this is crazy that we can't keep this on topic.
