  1. Something he probably learned under the tutelage of Rory Reid.
  2. Define "most". I have a relative who was born in America and is now also a citizen of a EU country.
  3. https://www.dailywire.com/news/49862/walsh-erica-thomas-matt-walsh Good question by Mr. Walsh. And as one of the comments to his commentary states: If America Is A Racist Country: 1. why is there 900,000 at the border dying to get in ? 2. Why do people apply for visa's : In fiscal year 2017, the United States issued 9,681,913 non-immigrant visas and 559,536 immigrant visas. 3. Why aren't people leaving?
  4. Caveat Emptor. We evil libertarians, insisting that personal responsibility and private, voluntary licensing groups could ever hope to replace a government bureaucracy.
  5. Rep. Rashida Tlaib Wants a $20 Minimum Wage for Tipped Workers. That Would Likely Destroy the Restaurant Industry.: https://reason.com/2019/07/24/rep-rashida-tlaib-wants-a-20-minimum-wage-for-tipped-workers-that-would-likely-destroy-the-restaurant-industry/
  6. I doubt a con man moving from state to state today would even bother with acquiring a legal professional license issued by the state before starting his con. Whatever professional license documentation he has is mostly likely counterfeit, therefore making it easier to start his con in a reciprocal state.
  7. Did you even read the article, or educate yourself on what occupational licensing does to those who want to move to another state and work in the same profession? No licensing means no more hundreds to thousands of hours of state mandated course work which costs thousands of dollars to take. No more licensing means no more hundreds to thousands of dollars spent on to just obtaining the pretty piece of paper issued by the state which you can display in your place of business. It means more freedom.
  8. Occupational Licensing Stops Workers From Moving Across State Lines. Andrew Yang Wants To Fix That.: https://reason.com/2019/07/23/occupational-licensing-stops-workers-from-moving-across-state-lines-andrew-yang-wants-to-fix-that/ Here's a novel idea; get rid of occupational licensing by the state altogether. I guarantee we will not suddenly have cars careening off of the roads due to shoddy repairs or people dropping dead in the streets due to a misdiagnosed or mistreated illness.
  9. Your point being? If anything it is worse today than it was in 1982.
  10. So you truly do not believe that is the basic mindset of Mr. Trump, along with nearly every elected politician in Washington, D.C.? Kicking the can down the road is standard operating procedure.
  11. Trump is reportedly not worried about a massive US debt crisis as he'll be out of office by then: https://www.businessinsider.com/trump-debt-crisis-fine-wont-be-here-report-2018-12]\ So in that respect Mr. Trump really isn't all that different from the other uni-party politicians in Washington.
  12. And you and other socialists blindly voting for the Democratic side of the uni-party is better exactly how?

  14. Yeah, but in the comics Jane Foster taking a turn as "Thor" is actually canon: https://nerdist.com/article/jane-foster-female-thor-comics-natalie-portman/

  17. Possible Budget Deal Will Add $2 Trillion to the National Debt: https://reason.com/2019/07/22/possible-budget-deal-will-add-2-trillion-to-the-national-debt/ 27.2K people are talking about this While Trump says Republican and Democratic leaders in the House and Senate have agreed to the budget and debt ceiling plan, Rep. Justin Amash (I–Mich.) offered a note of dissent.] 3,431 people are talking about this In a statement, the CRFB said the budget deal "may be the worst in history," given the country's current precarious fiscal condition. "Members of Congress should cancel their summer recess and return to the negotiating table for a better deal. If they don't, those who support this deal should hang their heads in total shame as they bolt town," says Maya MacGuineas, president of the CRFB. "This deal would amount to nothing short of fiscal sabotage." If President Donald Trump signs the deal into law, he will have authorized a 22 percent increase in federal discretionary spending during his first term in office—having signed a March 2018 budget deal that similarly jacked up both domestic and military spending. It's apparent at this point that there is virtually no political coalition in Washington, D.C., genuinely interested in reducing spending and bringing the national debt under control. Democrats are largely a lost cause when it comes to fiscal responsibility, while Republicans—with few exceptions—are little better, having abandoned decades of lip service to the benefits of smaller government. .... But as Trump has taken over the Republican Party, the influence of those other groups has waned. And with Democrats now controlling the House, any Republican resistance to higher spending will have a blunted effect anyway. Meanwhile, the national debt will continue to grow even without lawmakers adding to it this month. The CBO presently projects that the federal government will add another $11.6 trillion to the deficit over the next decade. By 2049, the national debt will be more than one and a half times the size of the entire U.S. economy, breaking a record set during World War II. If a recession hits, those numbers could be worse. And yet the only thing officials in Washington can agree to do is spend more money. May our children forgive us. Pitiful. And Mr. Amash is right. If bears repeating: "More spending. More debt. More failure of representation. This “deal” reflects our broken process. A few “leaders” dictate terms to everyone else. They don’t care how bad the “deal” is for America, as long as they maintain power. They then bribe and punish others to get it done." These are the leaders the uni-party system has given us. Those who continue to vote for this trash should be ashamed.
  18. The Erica Thomas Incident Wasn't National News, But That Never Stops Our Outrage-Hungry Media: https://reason.com/2019/07/22/erica-thomas-grocery-store-racism-hoax-media/ More evidence of the media fueling the fire of hyper-racism, hyper-sensitivity/outrage. It seems today in America a member of the racial majority can't criticize a member of a racial minority, rightly or wrongly, without being branded or painted as a racist by media. Is that right, is this the America we want to live in?
