  1. Wish this list also had the non-football playing schools on it, just for reference.
  2. https://www.indystar.com/story/news/local/indianapolis/2024/12/19/property-taxes-rising-fastest-in-indianapolis-area-across-u-s/76949931007/?tbref=hp These taxes are too damn high. Glad I live in a mostly rural area where property tax sanity reigns.
  3. Social Security Is Deeply Unfair. The Social Security Fairness Act Won't Fix That.: https://reason.com/2024/12/17/social-security-is-deeply-unfair-the-social-security-fairness-act-wont-fix-that/?itm_source=parsely-api At a recent family gathering one of my spouse's in-laws, who is a public sector employee in a neighboring state, was complaining about this WEP and how it needs to be repealed so he can get SS benefits along with a very generous state government pension. In his state public sector employees don't contribute to social security, yet he wants to receive benefits. The greed is unreal.
  4. I'm all for it.
  5. Yes, I have opinions. Do you?
  6. Yeah, opinions are like assholes. Everybody has one.
  7. Mr. Kelly is currently injured. Mr. Nelson played against Denver. But, but he has so much potential!
  8. https://reason.com/2024/12/13/federal-government-has-grown-too-big-promised-too-much-subsidized-too-many-warns-former-gao-boss/ Our Country is in big fiscal trouble. What is the solution?
  9. There are a few Colts that once they got "paid" their quality of play slipped. Not just Mr. Taylor but Mr. Kelly and Mr. Nelson as well.
  10. So I guess none of us are entitled to an opinion on an internet message forum. Got it. Yes. My logic is logical.
  11. Of course that is what their response would be, Mr. Obvious. That doesn't mean one has to accept it based on circumstances.
  12. I wonder in the annals of Indiana High School Athletics if a government high school has ever had it's football not win a game, then it's boy's basketball team not win a game either. The Hot Dogs are on pace for that dubious honor, with it's boy's basketball team sitting at 0-5. And they haven't even been competitive games. All losses have been by 20+ points, including a 70 point blowout against Westfield: Pretty sad for a school with four Indiana high school state basketball championships under it's belt.
  13. No, it's not. Just logical.
  14. Yeah, he doesn't understand the concept of editing an original post or the quote reply function which the replying person can edit. Which I just did to your quote as an example. Pretty much internet forums 101.
  15. Where did you find that nice word? Were you doing your daily "it pays to enrich your word power" in Reader's Digest?
  16. Yes, and a Catholic Priest to pray on player's/team's behalf.
  17. Yeah, I forget I should keep silent about individuals and institutions who are generally perceived as being perfect.
  18. Congratulations to young Mr. Kiser, but why does a student athlete with a full ride Notre Dame athletic scholarship also need the funds afforded by the Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship? Sounds like the Lilly Scholarship could have gone to a Cass county youth who needed it more.
  19. It's obvious. Lutheran's aren't Catholic. The are dirty protestants who believe in Justification by grace through faith alone.
  20. No, it doesn't. A true system of promotion & relegation takes enrollment entirely out of the equation.
  21. Promotion and relegation. The real solution.
  22. Thank you for confirming my hypothesis.
