  1. First you fat shame me, then you short shame me......I thought you were woke, you're just a bully.
  2. 10-2-5 ART. 5 . . . Enforcement of penalties for unsportsmanlike, nonplayer or dead-ball fouls: a. Penalties for dead-ball fouls, other than when both teams commit unsportsmanlike, nonplayer or dead-ball personal fouls prior to the completion of penalty administration for those fouls, are administered separately and in the order of occurrence. A dead-ball foul is not coupled with a live-ball foul or another dead-ball foul to create a double or multiple foul. b. If both teams commit unsportsmanlike, nonplayer or dead-ball personal fouls prior to the completion of penalty administration for those fouls, the distance penalty for an equal number of 15-yard unsportsmanlike, nonplayer or dead-ball personal fouls will offset. Any remaining penalties will be enforced separately and in the order of occurrence. c. A disqualified player or nonplayer shall be removed.
  3. Having recently taken a trip to Jamaica I think incoming from Jamaica are targeted. We all know what Jamaica is known for, after going thru immigration and customs, we had to go back thru TSA. This is like a stand alone deal in Orlando, that seemed a LOT more intrusive than standard TSA. I was escorted back to the room while some big burly dude got really familiar with me. I never had a problem with metal detectors until the last year or so, now all of the sudden I set every TSA detector off that I go thru. Bottom line, the dude in the article was wronged, I think he should be compensated. Not sure why in the hell anyone would be traveling with honey, but whatever.
  4. Two separate issues here. Using #13 at center in a lower level game, at least in our area, we usually give teams some latitude with numbers. Particularly in JV/frosh games when available personnel might be an issue. Make sure both coaches are aware, and lets play some football. On the quarter issue, as Bob stated, we have no jurisdiction over that. I often hear coaches complain about it, and I tell them there's nothing I can do about that. @Coach Nowlin I appreciate your sentiments, and pretty much feel the same way, but knowing this is going on is really disappointing to me. Lets call it what it is, it's cheating, what else are they cheating at? Is your integrity really worth a W on the JV schedule?
  5. A has four downs from B's 10. A1 and B1 are ejected. Fouls offset.
  6. Bob if I send you a check for 20 bucks, would that be considered a retainer?
  7. No kidding, imagine if he’d spelled potato wrong.
  8. Was Connie's rocking Friday night after the game?
  9. The thread is The Democrat's roster for a Trump - beater in 2020 Check out the Trump thread.
  10. One with young daughters! I've long since passed the torch!
  11. Actually I knew most of it. I have driven past the Jug Rock since I was a kid with my parents and grand parents, I've heard the story a thousand times. I learned about Clarksville in MS history. I would still suggest contacting @Lysander in the early morning hours.....ask him about any subject, it's certain to be entertaining.
  12. I believe they prefer to use the Red Pride thing now.
  13. Assume Clarksville Generals take their name from George Rogers Clark. The city of Clarksville was part of the “Clark Grant” as was most of Clark and Floyd Counties. Floyd Central Highlanders, assuming because they are the shining beacon on top of the hill. Being born, raised, and lived in Seymour all my life, I don't know the story behind our mascot. Though they don't have Football, Muncie Burris's mascot is also Owls. As I have pointed out many times, Owls are ferocious raptors. My dad was a graduate of Rockville, and he never knew the point of their mascot being the Rox. Shoals has the largest free standing table rock formation east of the Mississippi, named the Jug Rock. I've never seen it, but I've seen the sign flash by on 50 as I drive someplace else. As far as the Millers of Noblesville, I would ask @LysanderI'd wait until the early morning hours.
  14. It was hypothetical, suppose they did.
  15. On another note, as I understand it, this was played in Cincinnati. Assuming you used Indiana officials, are officials obligated to fill out reports on games played out of state?
  16. And only the ninth post in a completely unrelated thread.
  17. A only had 10 on the field, the sub made 11.
  18. This is my point, we have two good officials, with two different interpretations. Bob I assume is saying let it go, and you're saying kill it. Lemonnier and his host came to no conclusion about it, the play in question had no flag on it, and their main point was there had to be a flag for something. In the play there was a pass that was intercepted by B.
  19. ? Some tried to make the argument that he was moving towards the LOS and claimed a false start. This is one of the first 12-15 plays on the 19 Lemonier video, there was even some discussion on the tape about blowing it dead or letting it go, which spurred further discussion with us. My contention it does not meet the criteria for a false start. Regardless of whether you want to call illegal sub, illegal motion, or illegal shift, all of those require the ball to be snapped to be fouls. I’m going with illegal substitution and I’m letting the play go, had the ball not been snapped he could have gotten inside the nine yard mark and assumed a legal position. Am I wrong?
  20. A has 10 players on O, with seven lineman. Sub A21 enters the field a A’s side of the ball and A snaps the ball prior to A21 reaching the nine yard mark. The discussion at our meeting was do you let the play go, or blow it dead at the snap. My contention is you have to let it go, because the ball has to be snapped for this to be a foul. Several disagreed that even though it’s a foul at the snap, you blow it dead. Thoughts?
  21. Probably should have downvoted for it being colorized! Thanks Ted Turner!
  22. When my wife and I left the funeral home after my father's viewing, I made the comment "you know there were a lot more stories told, and laughs shared, than there were tears shed". At the end of the day, that's what it's all about.
