I love that the season finale the last few years has come while I watch from the beach in Florida 🙂

No Florida trip this spring for us. I’m taking my wife on a surprise trip for our 30th anniversary. The only thing she knows is we had to get passports, and when we’re leaving. I believe the fall trip to Florida after Football season is going to be an annual thing, though.

Enrollment in many schools outside of the suburban areas of the state are dropping.  Small town Indiana is not having the same number of children as in the past.  This is not just an EIAC issue, areas of the state are facing the same concerns.

Lawrenceburg is a doughnut community with decent paying casino jobs.......and of course Connies

You are old school my friend. When I started 20 years ago I was told that was the old school way of doing it. I was taught to just count the backs. As long as there weren't more than 4 and we knew we had 11 there had to be 7 on the line. I knew the 3 on your side of the ball was the original mechanic, but you then had to give 3rd base coach signals to the opposite wing to agree on balanced or unbalanced. This is a much better rule and it matches what most crews have been doing tor years anyway.

Just as you mentioned above, QB could be missed due to alignment. Pretty easy to count to three. The guys I learned from were so old they were school. We don’t mess with signals. If there’s time, wing will say on the radio, I’m heavy or I’m light.

That being said, 9 times out of 10, they report it to me, I got 5 in the backfield.

That's not close to only being a warning, especially when the slot guy is telling you he's a back (arm punched backward). The wing on top was asleep on that one. The only possible "out" is he may not have seen all 4 guys back with the QB from his angle. Because of how they are stacked one of those players could be blocked from his view. It's still an incorrect no call though unless the slot guy got on the line before the snap.

I tell my wings on EVERY play know how many guys you have on your side of the ball. When in doubt throw the flag, they're easy to pick up, if after the play we discover they're unbalanced. That being said, it does get missed.

The Lawrence County Recreational Park, west of Springville, is the specific location where  this event will be held.  Google maps link here:  https://www.google.com/maps/place/Lawrence+County+Recreational+Park/@38.9904765,-86.6164031,830m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m5!3m4!1s0x886c41b6c3a83221:0x9cfb083ca68de1db!8m2!3d38.9920224!4d-86.6114221

Looks to be a private enterprise,  primarily centered around ATV and motorcycle riding:  https://lcrp.ridetrails.org/

lol....I can remember several years back getting a phone call, Can you get us an 8' brass pole with ends that screw into the floor and the ceiling by tomorrow. Absolutely, if you're willing to pay what it takes. It was for the Abate Boogie.....I made a few bucks and they had their stripper pole on time.

Bob...its in Lawrence County between Avoca and Hobbieville off State Highway 54.  Was that helpful?

I was chuckling with your comment because I think you would align with 99% of state residents.  I grew up on a small family farm pretty darn close to Springville...off that state highway.  I don't remember this festival as a kid.

I've drove by it several times, granted I've never been in Springville proper, but I don't recall seeing  a gas station as it flashes past.

"When's the last time any of you have seen a movie?" That may be the funniest moment of this entire series.

My guess is they've seen one since I have!

I’ve been trying to tell you all wo giving anything away. The dude is a MACHINE!

Such an awesome tribute to the comics too. Beta’s knife skills. The double handed blade skills. Amazing.

This ONLY happens in the movies. I assure you, NO ONE wins a knife fight, hint...hint.. carry a gun.

Box makers have been recycling paper since before recycling was cool. It’s not a waste of money or time for them.

    Are they recycling or reusing?

Since the article focused mainly on the consumer level, that's what my comments were aimed at.  Industrial applications can and obviously do have some benefits.

For this argument, you are assuming man-made global warming exists.......

FTR - If natural occurring global climate change can happen in a way that melted the glaciers that formed the Great Lakes 15,000 years ago, SF isn't too worried that mankind will have much (if any) influence on the crisis being perpetuated as "global warming" today.  If you want to discuss mankind's mismanagement of worldwide pollution and better ways to handle that - open the door.

In Indiana, to buy a handgun, you must either pass the waiting period (for the background check) or have a permit.  Not sure on long guns, haven't purchased a shotgun or a rifle in a long time.

This is no waiting period in Indiana. You must pass a NICS background check. They typically take about 15 minutes after you fill out the form 4473. You do not have to have any kind of permit to purchase. You must have an Indiana License to Carry Handgun, LTCH to carry a handgun. You may transport a handgun without a permit, so long as it's not accessible to the driver, it's unloaded, and the ammo is stored separately. To purchase any long gun, you must pass a NICS background check. There is no license required to carry a long gun. There any number of groups that organize such carry events, which I can't for the life of me figure out why in the anyone would do such a thing.

You must be 21 years old to purchase a handgun and 18 years old to purchase a long gun.
