Norwegian lawmaker nominates Trump for Nobel Peace Prize: https://apnews.com/4ec1ce1ff6cf9d7321d9cad200650e2c
lol, the likes of CNN and MSNBC appear to be melting down at the moment over this. Quite funny.
Probably more worthy than BHO who was nominated 11 days after taking office.

Im not trying to be harsh here. But this doesn’t seem like a team that is well coached. I mean, I know they have a shortage of talent and have for a while, but you would think Madison could find a coach that can teach fundamentals. I thought after week 1 they would be improved but it seems they’re going backwards. I know they’re leaving the HHC, but does it matter? They can’t hardly beat anyone. You would think they could find a good 1-A coach or something that would come there. Heck, I’m sure East has some Assistants that would do better there.
This is where I have issues, you have no clue what you're talking about.

Going to be honest. Not trying to be nasty....but puzzled by the general overall uncompetitive nature of the area.
If I were some dude from outside the State and I had to go to Indianapolis every year for the last 15-20 years for Thanksgiving and my in-laws insisted we go see the Indiana HS Football State Championships all those weekends, I wouldn’t recognize any single name of any High School listed in the above references (I would recognize Lowell...but they weren’t mentioned).
None....nada.
I would know the names of a LOT of teams in Indianapolis, Ft. Wayne, South Bend and the Evansville Area.
Hell, I’d know the name of a school in Southeast Indiana who’s town is the equivalent of postage stamp (East Central).
Why is the “Region”, almost alone, simply not competitive?
Unless you folks want to claim Rensselaer along with Lowell.
He just called yo mamas fat.....and ugly.

I won't disagree with either of you two on the picks. Seems pretty straightforward. One of these weeks, someone will surprise us! I'm tempted with the BNL/Madison one since Madison pulled it off last year, I just don't see it happening two years in a row.
According to the local radio, Madison lost a key RB early in the game against Seymour.

I have a few personal preferences that are different than the way they went about it. But this is not a bad mechanic. The wing official at the bottom of the screen has the forward progress spot. He comes in hard, as far as he can without moving off the line. He’s taught to come in as far as the first body, and stop. But he can’t come in as far as the ball. The R correctly brings him the ball, rather than tossing it to him, and they spot it at his forward progress spot. They measure it from there. It would be nice if they could just freeze the ball and measure it there, but that is the wing officials’ forward progress spot, and that’s where they will measure it.
Curious what you thoughts are Bob, aside from why was there a measurement? Mechanics are pretty much by the book.

Sound like quite the corporate culture they have there at Cummins. Have they been sued much?
More specifically I was thinking about me.
Large corporation, I’m sure they get sued all the time.

By the way, I’m sure your HR person would counsel you not to refer to her as a “gal.” 😉
My daughter is in HR at Cummins, I assure you she’s been referred to in worse terms than “gal” 😉

Not hard to get, a para-legal, insurance salesman, teach to earn a license Social Studies teacher 2000 miles away has it all figured out and the idiot AD’s in the HHC can’t.

Good question. Would these individuals have lived with these other conditions but it was covid-19 that tipped the scales so to speak? Or did contracting covid-19 simply accelerate the inevitable?
About the same amount of disagreement among doctors as there is regarding the usefulness of mask in the general public.
Several reports have shown overall deaths in the US the be down slightly vs recent years.
There are good lies, bad lies, and statistics.

After some internet stalking....or uh...digging its Matthew Devine. Sr. List himself as 6' 220. Last offer was July 20th from Dayton per his active Twitter. So under the radar currently. Maybe last night will lead to more offers.
His last offer was Dayton? Football?

Due to the ticket restrictions imposed for our AWAY Varsity game, we had fewer fans there than were at our unrestricted ticket sales HOME JV game. Luckily I know a guy who gets us some primo tickets.

Why is it when there are local teams playing on TV, we always feel the need to tear them down. Congrats to Brownsburg, way to rep the Hoosier state!

So after two weeks with no real issues, aside from one crew who were apparently really uptight, can we assume:
1. The officiating is pretty good.
2. No one is there to see the bad officiating.
3. Fans are so appreciative to see HS Football they don’t care about bad officiating.

I’m not exactly sure what I said that was so wrong? I said “possibly upset Elder.” Everything is a possibility. Is it likely? I mean if the chances are 0 then they should keep the busses parked next week. You either hate me or you hate FC. Because your take is horrible. I am well aware of who Cincinnati Elder is and their Head Coach Doug Ramsey.
I don’t hate you or FC. I meant exactly what I said, much like most fans you see your team and whoever they play on any given Friday night. As I said, there’s a whole world out there playing Football. Mad props to FC for picking them up. I’m quite familiar with the GCL, worked many games with their teams.

You need to come down out of the clouds. Upset Elder in The Pit? Ask Cathedral how easy that is. You will be lucky to stay within 3 touchdowns.
I don’t think he gets down off the hill very often or understand there’s a whole world playing Football out there.

New Albany vs Eastern Hancock-Trap game for NA. Playing at Eastern Hancock the #13 team in 2A. EH is no slouch. They won their conference last year. The Dogs look very much improved and I think they get this one in a nail biter. NA by a score of 34-28.
Mad props for EH picking up this game. EH has not seen the athletes NA brings. The trip home will be a lot shorter than the trip up there.
For the NA fans making the trip.......right before you fall off the edge of the Earth, the school will be right there. Should be dining in Greenfield right off 70.

about 4 weeks into the season for all the teams playing.
Every team in Indiana who got to play this weekend only was able to see each other or possibly a controlled scrimmage last week, with many of those not even going on. I know for our team, I am not panicing, as that was our 1st game vs a solid 4a team after only seeing 14-16 year old scout team players last 2 weeks. THAT IS A HUGE difference and the process is just now beginning. Not complaining, just the reality of the situation everyone is under.
Got 9 weeks to get it right with our teams around the state of Indiana.
Just my thoughts after reading comments on our site and online here since kickoff.
Excited to be back and hope to stay back.
I don’t know coach, the write up in our game film was pretty brutal.

Honest question to Trump supporters....so, with the Epstein thing, we know that Bill Clinton was a sleazeball. I never voted for him, and do not look back in regret on that. But is Trump’s immorality being excused, or overlooked while pointing the finger at Clinton and others, including Biden? Sure Bill is the featured speaker tonight, but Trump is the featured speaker at the Republican Convention, right?
As we have discussed, how sad is it in 2020 these are our options. To the best of my knowledge, Trump has never been accused of doing the hokey pokey with a subordinate, much less a 19 year old intern. I'm old school, infidelity is an despicable in my opinion. I stood up in front of a bunch of friends, family, and someone's god and made a commitment, I take that very serious. However, if infidelity were the sole measuring stick for political candidates, I wouldn't be voting much, at least at the national level. Clinton got busted with a subordinate, a 19 year old intern, that's a line you simply can't cross in my opinion. He would have been shown the door in pretty much any corporate setting. Not to mention, her life was basically destroyed. Clinton got his hand smacked, finished his term, and my guess post presidential years, banging everything that moved, and making a boat load of money doing speaking engagements, and god bless him if that's what he spent his time doing, so long as they were consenting adults.
The fact that Clinton spoke, although buried early before the broadcast networks picked it up, is somewhat amazing to me. Historically past presidents ride off into the sunset. The Democrats have two rock stars in the organization, Clinton and BHO, neither of them can run for president, but seemingly those are the guys that attract any kind of attention.

But you lack the brain power to understand that, so there.
