My view who cares when pp wins a championship? They have no community, little media support, and no one remembers because it happens so frequently.

I feel like Clemson will beat Nd by 14 plus eliminating them bama will destroy Florida eliminating them Ohio state wins out i think Cinncy wins big this week vs ranked Tulsa leap frogging them over TAMU It can get very interesting if Michigan pulls out this week and Ohio state doesn’t have enough games to get t big ten title game, but I think they might change the bylaws to get them in.

Since this started as an Elkhart thread that consolidated what are the feasibility of these consolidations? hobart lake station river forest? whiting ec? calumet griffith? can you think of any others?

What’s wrong with those games? It’s like Purdue playing Indiana state. Not every game needs to competitive. Sometimes you want an easy game to let everyone play in. Plus on the other side the smaller schools always want to see how they stack up vs the big dogs.

I think Illinois uses the record of your opponents as qualifying criteria they can use that and sagarin Illinois has the issue where Chicago public seeded teams get seeded high but lose 1st couple rounds because they don’t play anyone

No I’d prefer seeded statewide playoffs like Illinois plus Indiana being a midsized state makes no sense. I think the only state that has northern and southern is California and that’s like 5 states in 1.

It was a legitimate concern/question. I mean Andrean and bishop Noll only have one building and have to control enrollment. Where as I’ve seen Hammond and crown point build new schools and I think lake central just added on to their existing building.

There would be a private and public school champion what is the harm in that? We’d get to crown more champions and have more kids experience a championship. It is a win win situation

They would still be members and play regular season games against all others they would just have their own separate post season tournament
