Agree that Chatard will be the best team MM has seen all year. Mishawaka game 1 is really the only other team worth mentioning. Seen Penn on film... nope. But honestly Concordia isn’t a great team but hung with Chatard. Chatard 24-21. Boys from the south will have a good shot at LOS

It seems clear to me that he was not intentionally throwing the ball away but was intentionally throwing the ball to a receiver who turned out to be ineligible with no eligible receiver anywhere close. We obviously don’t know whether or not he KNEW the receiver was ineligible or not. Had he not thrown the ball he wouldve been sacked. So was he grounding or just confused? Does it matter?

Miller yes... just based on measurables. thought I heard IU was interested. Arnold no... very good small school Qb but not close to D1. If LCC can get after him it will be a game. He’s not mobile at all. If they give him time to throw to receivers 2x faster and or 2x bigger than their secondary it will be over quick.

SAC thought it was impressive that they sent 6,5,3,2A representation to regional. Disappointing only Luers advances in 2A. Concordia was competitive but Chatard was the better team. Dwenger wins that game 7x out of 10. At which point I think the Narrative on the SAC changes to “Neutral”

No disrespect to Pioneer. They are consistently a very solid team. Will be a good game. Just found it funny that a middle of the pack NE8 team was referred to BOTH as “the toughest team P has played” as well as “little sister to the East” in the same post. “Big brother to the East” would seem to have been a more apt description.

CC rolls South Putnam and South Adams defense shows itself to be “sieve like” Friday against Southwood. Even if SA bounces back from the injury bug this week the CC line is +17 against the field.

Just watched film again. The QB was 2 yds deep in the end zone and fell / falling down backwards to avoid a tackler when he threw. he was not hit and fell to his back. Threw a nice ball sidearm to his offensive guard in the flat, 5 yd line, between the hash and the sideline. Closest receiver down field was at the 24. Next Closest receiver was on the 6 ya line center of the field. I guess thought the guard was eligible and unloaded it....Should’ve been a safety.

Watched the Norwell v Concordia game in person and then again today on film. Also watched the Chatard sectional final yesterday. I’ll be routing for Concordia but am afraid it will be in the 28-0 / 24-3 ball park.

2nd and 10 from the 6 yard line. QB drops back into the end zone and in order to avoid the sack completed a forward pass to the offense guard (ineligible) on the 5 yard line who runs to the 10 before tackled. No eligible receiver within 15 yards. I believe this should’ve been called a safety. Was called Illegal touch. 1/2 the distance, replay 2nd down. Correct call?

Going to be a good game. Southwood has played the more difficult schedule. Hour + bus ride for the stars. 14-14 at half. SA 35 SW 28 final

Hope we see this game: IF we do... am afraid the 1st Qtr is going to be a shock for the Starfires as they have played a super soft schedule.

None are FWCS so they likely all are hosting fans.
