    North: I’d really like to see the Norwell / Concordia game happen. 17-14 game last year but was played in the slop. Will be on turf this year and both teams brought pretty much everyone back. Not sure either can keep it close against Chatard but who knows. Maybe the sectional 28 meat grinder will take something out of them. Marion has their ticket punched to semi state.

    Good post. Thought about this as well. I believe the DOH website states that u go back 2 days b4 symptoms began. So if a player states “I started to feel sick Monday” the prior team may be ok. If he says Saturday am then probably not.

    Maybe the question should be “who gives Chatard the best game”? im going with either WL second game of sectional (at WL) or Marion. I think (or hope) one of them will keep it under 14.

    If thinking logically about the situation one would realize that the number of teams playing will 1/2 every week from here on out. As the number active players decreases the likelihood of disruption to the tournament decreases proportionally. You don’t have to comprehend Zenos paradox nor apply basic statistics.... just 7th grade math. I assume most posters made it through middle school but perhaps not.

    IHSAA, teams, schools and counties have all implemented guidelines based upon data and the facts surrounding the current situation. We’ve had a great season. Looking forward to watching teams play in a great tournament. Looking forward to watching the seniors play out their final games of their careers. This topic / post has my vote for the worst of this season.

    Probably best. Whether we hear about it here or a day later doesn’t matter. Threads like this take the focus away from the game of football and puts focus on the GAME of covid. I’m out... and am sorry for contributing to this nonsense and won’t in the future.

    In the 9 games I’ve been to both teams basically walked towards each other from the sidelines and stop 10-20 yards from one another and acknowledge each other. No hand shakes. Kindve odd but If it makes everyone feel better and they can keep playing... ok

    Hail Knights Armor! Congrats to 3a Norwell in 8-1 regular season. Want to avoid getting on the dreaded “contraction” list? Get a coach and staff that will invest in the program from youth to varsity and rally around ur young athletes.     They won’t be seeing a triple option. It’s a strange offense but effective if u have a good D and the big boys up front.

    Someone should do a detailed case study of the Fairfield and Norwell football programs. The similarities are uncanny down to prior coachs’ last name, start dates, 2006 peak, etc. difference: Fairfield held a shorter leash which resulted in a shorter turnaround? Congratulations to the Fairfield Senior class!
