Agree for the most part. But to not make money consistent with the market AND have tighter recruiting restrictions, I am not so sure the job is desirable as you think.

Since it appears caramel is not going to release a statement and be transparent about this issue publicly let’s go ahead and get this out of the way. Now that their homework assignment is complete, how long until Carmel and a member to be named later are announced as new members of the MIC?

Yes. Both of these athletic programs are at the top of their game in multiple sports and it sucks for the kids and the publicity of the particular sport in an instance where adults got in the way of a potential outstanding regular season matchup that could be a litmus test for both programs prior to the state tournament. if there is a cross country/track meet, is Carmel checking the entry list to see that CG is not there? How about a swimming invitational? This is dumb.

Not a downgrade next year but if they don’t pick up CG afterwards it just comes across as weak. I just can’t believe this is where we are in 2023…huge school bullies BD, Warren and Carmel shying away from CG due to hurt feelings. Three of the four biggest schools in the state and those responsible for 5A/6A football domination since the turn of the century.

Yes, and Carmel's vague defense of pulling out of all contracts doesn't help the matter. Its a gross overreaction and I'd actually rather them come out and SAY that isn't the reason or else folks are going to speculate and not give them the benefit of the doubt, nor should they. If you are penalizing thousands of student athletes due to a knee jerk reaction (of an event that is a 50/50 split in terms of responsibility at WORST) that is awful leadership. But hey, the Carmel AD has an outstanding relationship with the remaining MIC members, which is what's really important, right @BDGiant93? This smells rotten.
