  1. The term “near-total abortion ban” is a misnomer intentionally applied to spark outrage. Its not even close. How can people be so dumb/blind?
  2. My comment was tongue in cheek but the irony of this whole situation is rich. Hopefully she comes home a changed woman…and uses her platform to influence others to count their blessings.
  3. Good to have you back…me thinks it’s gonna be another banner year for the Irish…in both ball sports.
  4. Apparently another group of folks forgot to read the gun laws posted…so irresponsible. https://kstp.com/kstp-news/top-news/police-responding-to-mall-of-america-after-reports-of-shots-fired/
  5. The real question becomes: will she still be “offended” by our country’s national anthem after we inevitably swap her for an arms dealer in the name of optics prior to the midterms?
  6. 11-1...the 8.5 win total in Vegas is the easiest bet in the country.
  7. I’ll count this as a win…
  8. Politics has become way too polarizing…so all or none. They are supposed to represent the people and that is no longer the case because most people see gray area on nearly every political issue. Another “wake up call” is how far the left has shifted and thinks that LA/NY and SF speak for the rest of the country and believe that optics on social media are real life and speak for the masses. The real “wake up call” is coming in November.
  9. “Opponents argued that the amendment would set state lawmakers up to pursue a total abortion ban.“ Red/blue/purple/whatever…anyone with common sense understands that a “total abortion ban” is illogical. Please don’t stereotype and lump people together based on political tropes and half truths.
  10. If you throw enough darts, eventually you'll hit a bullseye...
  11. Maybe its just one I am creating. After an era of domination, New Pal came back to earth and is now playing in its class on a consistent basis. Wondering if Ralph's magic was due more so to a solid group coming through or if he can repeat that success. Sorry for my lack of clarity.
  12. New Pal/Ralph is a fascinating storyline for me this fall. Will be interested to see how they progress.
  13. Yep, no OSU, Michigan or MSU plus PSU at home in a night game for the opener.
  14. Here is where I am at: vs Penn State: lean loss (as silly as this sounds, this game could set the tone for the entire season, its a Thursday night so it'll be a great atmosphere) vs Indiana State: win @ Syracuse: lean win (Purdue teams seem to always drop one they should not so this one scares me a bit) vs Florida Atlantic: win at Minnesota: lean loss (just don't know what to make of the Gophers) at Maryland: lean win (already tired of the Taulia hype, guy throws it to the other team too much) vs Nebraska: lean win (not a believer in Frost but no other team in America was more unlucky in 2021 than the Huskers) at Wisconsin: lean loss (Camp Randall is the difference) vs Iowa: lean win (Boilers seem to always have Iowa's number, pick your WR to go for 200+) at Illinois: win (Illini are better but not good enough yet) vs Northwestern: win (like Fitz but I think he moves on from his alma mater eventually) at Indiana: lean win (Hoosiers are better than 2021 but nowhere near 2020 form; it will be close) This adds up to 9. But there are so many toss ups here. Anything from 5-7 to 10-2 is possible IMO.
  15. 8-4
  16. I can get on board with this.
  17. I think so. They are an automatic 8+ win outfit annually that has had the unfortunate circumstance of running into the Cathedral juggernaut the last three seasons (and 6 of the last nine seasons) and either New Pal or Zionsville in other years. They actually gave that 2018 New Pal team one hell of a game but simply ran out of gas in the second half. I by no means think that they are a consensus favorite and maybe this is unfair to Merrillville but the Hawks are more proven on a state wide level than anyone left in 5A.
  18. I could be wrong but I’ll guess…”the Indy factor.” Until non-central Indy schools breakthrough at the 5A/6A level when it comes to winning titles, “bias” towards them will always exist. Only Columbus East and Snider have weakened the stereotype recently.
  19. I’ll let Harbaugh know he owes Tom Allen a conference championship ring.
  20. LOL, ok. Good for them. My point still remains and 2021 validates it…on both ends. Those “rented mules” just made the CFP and those who did the whipping went 0-9.
  21. 8-9
  22. 11-6
