Not willing to go that far. I think the numbers agree with you but suddenly Pike is formidable and LC has enough talent to make things interesting. It is however, amusing how you’ve changed your tune in two weeks.
-
Depends on if they are giving up scores on turnovers or short fields. I still don’t trust their offense. If all things were equal and Warren’s offense scored 21 points per week, no way they lose more than 2 games in my opinion.

A lot of unknowns here, lol. Ben Davis @ Pike: Only a handful of folks in Hendricks County had BD getting off to an 0-2 start. NO ONE has BD getting off to an 0-3 start. The reverse is likely true when it comes to Pike. I posted a question asking if it was time to "hit the panic button" on the west side in another thread and the answer to me is YES, if what I am about to type is true. The Red Devils are perhaps 6A's biggest surprise at 2-0 and this one is personal as Pike has not beaten BD since 2015 and most of them haven't been close. Pike's staff KNOWS BD. I can't believe I am about to type this as I have a chance to look really foolish on Friday night but if BD can't muster up a win at home, they are walking into a Hornet's nest on the northwest side Friday night. Pike gets its biggest win in over a decade. 27-23. Carmel @ Centerville (OH): The Hounds let one get away in losing a third consecutive to county rival Westfield and they travel to the Dayton suburbs to take on Centerville whom I know little about other than a quick search of 247, MaxPreps and a couple of Ohio sites. Centerville was drubbed by St. Xavier out of Cincinnati who is not deemed top 10 worthy in Ohio by most in the know. I'll be a homer here and take Carmel 24-14. Center Grove @ Trinity (KY): Perplexed on this one as I posted in another thread. Trinity is considered KY's top team and appears in @whiteshoes' top 100, yet does not boast a player 3 stars or higher in either the 2025/2026 classes according to 247? CG bounced back last week with a win over a solid Carroll squad after letting one get away in week 1. Going homer again here I guess. 20-17 CG. Lawrence Central @ Edwardsville (IL): Bears are 0-2 but have two close losses and are talented. They travel to the suburbs of St. Louis to take on 8A Edwardsville. Edwardsville boasts a bona fide star on their DL, committed to Iowa, and is considered a top 15 team in Illinois. That's enough for me. LC falls to 0-3. Edwardsville takes it 30-14. Lawrence North @ Wayne (OH): LN will join Carmel on I-70 east to take on Wayne (OH) who lost to a good Pickerington Central squad. Wildcats could quietly put themselves in position for a MIC title later on this year and I have a hunch they make a statement in the Buckeye state this weekend. Wildcats win 31-21. Warren Central @ North Central: Can Warren Central start the season without giving up a point for 12 quarters? I think so and NC's only chance at getting on the board in this one may be a special teams or defensive score. Warren rolls 41-0. What say you?

Brownsburg @ Franklin Central: Brownsburg put the state on notice with a comfortable win over Cathedral last week at Marian. The Irish's win over BD the prior week lost some of its luster but the Bulldogs remain Indiana's kings of the regular season. They travel to the southeast side to play a relative unknown in FC whose game with Roncalli was ruled a no contest after the Flashes were down three at the half. I hate the term "trap game" but this fits. I still expect Brownsburg to win by double digits in a game that could be close early. I'll say 31-14 Dogs. Hamilton Southeastern @ Avon: Sort of intriguing matchup here as the Royals have cruised in weeks 1/2 and Avon had the surprise of the week in 6A last week, hanging on to beat BD. HSE has state title aspirations, whereas Avon is trying to gain conference legitimacy. I see a similar blueprint to the game above. Close early before HSE pulls away late. Royals win 34-20. Noblesville @ Fishers: It's often be referred to (by me anyway) as the "big four" in the HCC and Fishers has always been the cutoff for me. That could change this week as Noblesville is red hot, whereas Fishers is coming off of a head scratcher to an upstart Pike team. I really have no clue how this one is going to turn out but if Fishers loses this game, I am not sure they recover. I'll take em at home but am not confident by any means. Tigers win 24-21. Zionsville @ Westfield: Perhaps no team was happier to hit reset Saturday morning after the storms rolled through than Westfield. The 'Rocks got down 10 early before storming back to make it three in a row over Carmel. Zionsville, meanwhile, rebounded with a shootout win over LC. I see Westfield rolling here. 'Rocks win 38-14. What say you?

Great stuff as always. Hey, can you (or anyone else for that matter) tell me how/why the #1 team in KY (Trinity) has zero players in the 2025 or 2026 classes listed on 247’s statewide recruiting rankings? Am I overlooking something? Getting ready to take a look at this week’s out of state matchups and thought that was bizarre.
-
To be fair. 1. There was no poll taken after the week zero game so their #10 ranking was just “leftover” from the preseason poll. They will not be ranked today. 2. Their stadium is under construction and all of those seats underneath the press box were off-limits.

Temp’s Top 25 (Week 2)

Biggest game in some time for them this week. Anybody have BD 0-3 on their bingo card? Its possible. -
“In reality, nothing like Stalions.” Can you expand on this statement? Lets draw this out with some foreplay instead of me going to a running clock here. I’d recommend you watch the documentary first but if you wanna play without pads, go for it.

Temp’s Top 25 (Week 2)

No doubt. I am taking the “Brownsburg approach” with them for now and keeping them outside of the top 10. A win over one of the HCC’s “big three” (sorry Fishers, you simply can’t lose to Pike) would go a long way. Also, for the record when compiling this week’s rankings I took into account the score of the contest when it was cancelled as opposed to treating it as a “no contest.” -
Week #2 Scores

This feels awkward. -
You likely think that programs just started paying players when NIL was introduced too. Now, you’re deflecting. I wanna talk about the nuts and bolts of this “scandal” with someone who has all of the facts. Can you find me someone?
-
Yawn. You forgot all CAPS. Watch the documentary and then get back to me.

Week #2 Scores

Wow. -
Of course Jim knew who the guy was. Every team has a sign stealer. Many have multiple. Can you point me to a link where Jim denies knowing WHO he is? Tell me you didn’t watch the documentary without telling me you didn’t watch the documentary. Don’t let facts get in the way of your fake outrage.

FaceTime is pretty cool.
-
Cool, still don’t understand why a team that is 18-15 since Covid would travel two time zones for a football game.
-
Bizarre.
