Definitely looking forward to this one. AC might be better than ever this year, I'm thinking Heritage may pass SA in the ACAC standings.

I Think AC is gonna be bumped up to 2a sooner than later, if not by success factor then by enrollment. There was a spreadsheet on here earlier this season with enrollment and they were the 3rd or 4th biggest 1a school?

This years AC team is not as explosive as the one a year ago, but they are still too much for North Judson. I just don't see AC's defense faltering even with a few injuries and would be shocked if they put up more than 21 points. I say AC 35 NJ 21. Expect a few big passing plays from AC early, even with limited reps Black has thrown some really nice balls this year.

And there were 4. Adams Central at North Judson Lutheran at North Decatur Is this the week for upsets? or another week of running clocks?

I am having flashbacks from last year, hearing how good Judson is supposed to be before they got taken to the woodshed at home. AC could put a running clock on every opponent in the playoffs and it wouldn't be good enough for the people in North Judson. Until it happens to them of course. They put up 6 points in the first half against Triton a few weeks ago, they are not some juggernaut team. Yes AC has taken a step back from last year, there are like 5 seniors that play its still a fairly young team. That doesn't mean anything for the rest of the north.

If that's "good ball" id hate to see the rest of the TRC play.

I'm sure the media will hype up the SA vs AC game all week, only for it to be a blowout. I am a little worried about the secondary but think they will get the job done. 28 points sounds fair. Hoping for a competitive game as AC will not have much competition until playoff time after this game and needs to be tested.

Some schools just do not post stats to maxpreps. They don't see a benefit in doing so or don't care enough to have somebody do it.

"You guys were only up 21-0 before shutting us out 41-0" doesn't help your argument. Good thing these teams play on Sept 23rd so we can ask ourselves these questions after then with no excuses.

How did they even score 71 points with a running clock... did they have starters in the whole game? Think they would have the freshman in by then. I'd love to see that replay

Ill take a second bite. Obviously the polls early in the year are based on recent success. I am biased but there is no way SA is the 3rd best team in 1A. If they are, its gonna be a rough year for the rest of the north. SA has lost to AC in the playoffs 3 of the last 5 years, the other 2 they just didnt play AC. They get prestige by being associated.(ill give them credit for 2020 because they were actually a really good team) This year they are in AC's sectional. Just take it at a quick glance and move on

Biggest win AC has had for awhile. I think there's gonna be a lot of running clock games coming up later in the season.

The entire town of Monroe will be at the Landing Strip for sure haha

Going to be a battle! very interested to see what this years AC team can do against a tough opponent.
