Geurin had a very questionable holding called on them in the 3rd quarter that brought back a 65 yard touchdown throw to go up 28-7 midway through the 3rd quarter. Same exact spot that a questionable holding call was made last year in a pivotal moment of the second round of sectionals at LaRocca field. Coincidence...I think not!!!

This might have already been covered somewhere and I've just missed it but... What's the Big Ten going to do when Oregon, Penn State, and IU all finish the season undefeated? Obviously lots of football to be played, but with every week, we get closer and closer to this. Oregon's only ranked opponent left on their schedule is Illinois. I think they are the most likely to finish undefeated, but if Penn State and IU both get past Ohio State the Big Ten is going to have three undefeated teams more than likely. Using a tiebreaker for that is going to leave both teams and fans pretty pissed off if you ask me. Your team goes undefeated and you don't get the opportunity to play for a conference title. Poor planning on the Big Tens part to not have divisions to keep this from happening. My assumption is the Big Ten thought they had all their bases covered and some of the usual bottom feeders were an after thought(IU). Big Ten is probably rooting hard for Ohio State against both IU and Penn State.

Unless the school knew about this a lot sooner than when they reported this, I don't see how the school can be at fault.

Looks good on paper but won't happen. First group of teams I don't really see any problems there other than what was mentioned previously with the time difference causing issues which is why it sounds like RC is out in the Hoosier conference anyway, so not sure what problems you solve with that. Second group a lot of problems. Cass has been in the TRC for 2 years and I think they are more than happy to be there. Northwestern just joined the TRC. Eastern left the old MIC because they didn't want to play any of the teams that are listed in this group. Don't know where Oak Hill and Eastbrook are with their conference, but they are usually at the top most years, and are very competitive. Peru and Mac left the old MIC because they wanted to be in the TRC especially when Taylor and Eastern were leaving and the thought was to just bring in Tipton to replace them. Third group if North Miami wanted to be in a conference with Southwood, Northfield, Wabash, Manchester, and Whitko they would have never left the TRC. I don't see why Caston would stop playing Pioneer and Winamac, and have to travel to the Wabash schools. Fourth group if Rochester and Triton would have wanted to join the INSC they would have done it last year(or for this year, however you want to look at it). Both schools would be competitive in the conference for football this year, but you have to look at it from all the sports views too. Not sure how competitive they would be in the other sports, as well as football moving forward. Also being smaller schools would mean trying to survive the year without injuries. If you do, sure you would be prepared for the playoffs, but would be tough to challenge for a conference championship in most sports. Speaking for Rochester, we like what the TRC provides. A mix of 1A, 2A, and 3A schools that will get us ready for the playoffs without it being a bruiser schedule that when multiple players go down, we are in trouble come playoff time. As long as there is a TRC conference(which I don't see there ever not being one for the foreseeable future) Rochester will be in it.

Both teams held up their end, and it comes down to the last week of the season. Both undefeated in the TRC. Both ranked in their respective classes. Mac has athletes all over the field, and can strike fast. Rochester is a grind it out 3-4 yards a play, run the clock team. Mac has allowed the second fewest points in 3A, Rochester the second fewest points in 2A, but I have a feeling there will be some points put on the board Friday night from both teams. Should be a good one in Bunker Hill. Who ya got for this matchup, and any insight on how you think the game is gonna go?

Rochester is going nowhere any time soon. The TRC is just what we need, not just for football, but all sports across the board.

Southwood has been in every game that they have played this year for the most part. They have a lot of talent on the offensive side of the ball, they've been plagued by the injury bug all year. They are well coached. Rochester has to be ready to play for 4 quarters. Everyone is excited about the Maconaquah/Rochester conference championship possibility next week but both teams have to take care of business tonight in order for that to happen.

Any chance Bluffton gives Adam Central a run for their money this week. I don't think so, but wondered if others that have watched them more closely can give any insight? Gotta think these are the best two teams in Sectional 35, but Bluffton hasn't looked as dominant this year as they did last year up until this point. I know they graduated a lot of talent from last years team.

More than likely more parity due to the better teams still being better, just not as dominant, with the lower teams being better than they were in previous years. Last years AC and Bluffton teams were just on a different level than the rest of the conference. Both teams are still better than the rest of the conference, both have just looked beatable at times.

Sure if you see thunder or hear lightning, the game should probably be cancelled or postponed. But I'm 100% sure no one this thread has ever seen thunder or heard lightning in their lives, let alone during a football game, at least that's what my mama says.

1. You must have looked at $hitty drones. 2. There is nothing luxuries about an end zone camera. From putting it up to taking it down, it sucks. Stick to being "milftastic" cause you don't know what you're talking about on this one.

I believe you've never operated both of them, or have seen the film from both of them if you think that. If you take a high quality end zone camera and a high quality drone and compare the two it isn't even a contest.

There are different all-area teams throughout the state that usually pick a Defensive and Offensive guy. Anything like that in the area? I know the Pharos Tribune does it for the teams around Cass County. Kokomo Tribune does one for the teams in that area as well.

Mississinewa's schedule isn't great, but the way in which they are beating teams is still impressive. Alexandria knows how to put points on the board and Mississinewa shut them out. If they can do the same thing to Eastbrook, I think Mississinewa will be just fine in the 3A playoffs. The only thing I would be concerned with is the starters not playing a full game yet. You need a few of those games to know what it feels like to be tired in the 4th quarter and still battle at a 100% speed. Nonetheless, I applaud them for the year they are having, very impressive.

Hagerstown, Hammond Noll, North Vermillion, Pioneer, Seeger, South Decatur, Sullivan, and Triton were all offenders twice and victims once. Whiting was an offender twice and victim twice. Finally, Perry Central was an offender twice and a victim 3 times. This is just from the multi offender and victim list. I don't know about anyone who isn't a multi-week offender.

Would be interesting to see. Let me see if I can take a little off of Muda's plate and crunch the numbers for you.

Bremen @ John Glenn - Sounds like Bremen is trying to figure things out without one of their key receivers. Had paid much attention to John Glenns scores, but Rochester saw both in the summer. John Glenn is BIG. I think it will be a close game, but I think Glenns size is too much to deal with for Bremen. I'll never count the Lions out though. LaVille @ Knox - Arguably Knox has two of the best players in the league. Just too much for Laville to handle. If Laville can survive being healthy the rest of the regular season, I think they will be more than ready to face most teams in 1A, other than North Judson but I'm not sure there's a 1A team who is. Tippecanoe Valley @ Jimtown - I think Valley pulls this one out. They have a few rough weeks in a row where I don't think they have played up to expectations. I think Moriarty will have them ready to go. It's been said previously on here that he's not a great coach. I would disagree. I think they are still try to figure out who they are as an offense. I think they still play good enough defense to be in any game. I think the Vikings start to get on a roll leading into the playoffs, and it will start with winning this game.

Depending on the draw, October might just as boring. With who the 1A's have in their sectional not seeing any "cinderella men" coming out of there. South Vermillion might be the only chance for a deep playoff run from anyone, and I think there's a couple teams in their sectional that can beat them. The WRC is gonna have to go "Berserk" if they want to see their conference have any success this playoffs.

I wonder how many teams have been on the wrong end of the running up the score per week. Benton Central comes to mind when thinking about it.
