  1. Central will certainly be a sight for sore Tiger eyes. Memorial is very limited on O will have to play nearly perfect to compete with a solid team like Jasper in R2. I'd like to see #19 and #80 more involved. Did Hunt play for VL last night?
  2. Sets up a perfect repeat of last year, 10-0 Reitz loses on the road in Round 2.... LOL
  3. Chatard's QB that year was headed to Ball State, so they had a lot of talent too. Ironically, we won that game by 25 because of our D, not the O. I don't know if anyone in 3A can knock them off, but just because they beat Cathedral doesn't mean they can't be beat by a 3A school.
  4. The last time Chatard beat Cathedral they got smoked in 3A South Semi-State, so I wouldn't bet the mortgage on that fact alone...
  5. Delay the bus...When it's 1 and done you gotta do whatever it takes..
  6. Harrison has a beast of a TE that is generally under-utilized and another player or two who can be dangerous, but a disciplined team should have no trouble with them.
  7. If St. Leon has Skyline, that would be my choice...
  8. Wasn't suggesting they could. Although they did handle Moeller easier (at least based on score) than CG... Wasn't suggesting they could. Although they did handle Moeller easier (at least based on score) than CG...
  9. I don't see any 6A ball, but EC last year was probably the best HS football team I've seen in person.
  10. Then the next alternative is thumbtacks on I-69.... Lots of thumbtacks...
  11. You have a better chance of beating them at your place than at Reitz Bowl. Do you have natural grass or turf? If its natural grass, it might good if it rains really hard in Bedford all week leading up to the game (if you know what I mean) so the field is a sloppy quagmire of a mess.
  12. They played two OH opponents, including Moeller, so their SOS isn't entirely accurate. Beat Moeller by 10.
  13. All schools in the sectional split the gate (less expenses). So a team that loses in R1 gets the same as the team who wins. The IHSAA gets none of the Sectional money.
  14. Sectional Round 2 will be 7 weeks from when our guy was injured, but I have not heard anything definitive either way.
  15. Jasper at Lincoln should be a good game. Reitz, Bosse and North will win big. Memorial's D could keep them in the game but the O is struggling fierce.
  16. Not pretty is putting it lightly. No run game. QB struggled. D played pretty well though. Lincoln wasn't much better but scratched out the W. Overall it was about as ugly a game as I've seen. Need to circle the wagons and get our stuff together to finish the regular season with a W. Won't be easy.
  17. We had some recent discussions with the BHC about re-affiliating too. Not sure it will go anywhere. I think they wanted a pretty good chunk of change. BTW, I have Brother's bike and ride it almost every night - blue Schwinn Racer made in Chicago... You still have kids at BCHS?
  18. Were any other Indy Catholic schools staffed by Brothers of Holy Cross? We too were a BHC school (in collaboration with the Sisters of Providence) and had brothers from 1925 until 2009 (when the last one passed away).
  19. Haven't been to the new Slice yet. Loved the quirky vibe of the old Slice though.
  20. Tigers are 0-4 ATS since Wk. 4 when Fisher went down. Harrell has Memorial (-3) for this week. I don't do the Massey or other prediction sites. For Memorial, two QBs means no QB, so I'd probably take the Alices and the points, but then again I'm no Erin Dolan....
