  1. Yep, that was always an unfortunate PAC scheduling quirk that prevented a lot of potentially good cross-conference games between the PAC and SIAC. BTW, not too shabby on the radio the other night. I listened to most of the first half. Did you ever think about strangling the co-host? Just kidding. LOL
  2. We never seemed to be able get non-conference games against PAC teams.
  3. Maybe Danville should have been more disciplined and not put the refs in the position of having to make a decision in the first place?
  4. It will be interesting to see if the SIAC Sagarin numbers change much after this week as we are finally getting some games outside the conference.

  6. My bad, I thought we were on the road next week. No Round 1 surprises. First ever meeting between Southridge and Memorial at Enlow next week.
  7. F'ing Hurley being compassionate....
  8. Somebody better have a lotta dimes.
  9. I personally think SR -24 is the safest of the 3 bets.
  10. A little birdy told me this is what our friends in the desert have: Heritage Hills -14 @ Gibson Southern Memorial -14 @ Mater Dei Mt. Vernon (Posey) +24 @ Southridge If I was a gambling man, I would take GS +14, Memorial -14 and SR -24.
  11. Yea, I don't think a team can refuse to have its game streamed in the tournament, since all tournament games are property of the IHSAA. I'm pretty sure all tournament games that are streamed have to run through ihsaatv.org.
  12. Memorial at Mater Dei will be streamed on ihsaatv.org. Here is the link. Coverage starts at 6:15 central time. https://www.ihsaatv.org/?B=1432130
  13. Well done, cousin. Good luck to you guys too. Should be the best crowd at Central in quite a while. Funny story - a few years ago (2018 I think) as MD's busses were parking at Enlow, Coach Goebel stepped off right as I was walking from the stadium out toward the tailgate. I said "Good luck Coach". And with a squared jaw and eyes of steel, he said "You don't mean that..."
  14. I don't think that's allowed under IHSAA rules, is it? Are the 8th graders water boys?
  15. Great promo. What was the reason Washington would not allow the HUDL stream? Didn't want a public execution broadcast worldwide?
  16. I'll take the favorites to cover, except Vincennes.
  17. A good reason as to why Indiana should never change from the all-in. We have just as many geniuses on North Meridian Street as the WIAA apparently has in Madison...
  18. At least it will be drier than the last one...
  19. Kinda surprised nobody has mentioned the Buehler's Buy-Low Grocery - East trophy given to the winner of the annual Wk. 9 match-up between Evansville Bosse and Evansville Harrison. It ranks right up there with Floyd of Rosedale and the Old Oaken Bucket if you ask me..
  20. Thanks for posting Titan32. Was not aware of that interview.
  21. Heck, we are lucky just to have 2 newspaper reporters who cover local HS sports for the Courier. Both do a great job, but man they are spread thin...
  22. Kick off is at 6:30.
  23. He's a heck of a player.
  24. Win or go home... Jasper over Harrison 28-14 Reitz big over Central 42-0 Memorial 42 - 17 over Mater Dei Lincoln 35 - 0 over Princeton
