    There is no connection between Memorial and Southridge. Jasper and Southridge would make more sense as both in Dubois Co. Memorial and Mater Dei would be the logical duo. I'd like to see the "Catholic Conclave" with some Indy schools...

    Yep, injuries to key players and not having comparable back-ups is what ended up getting us behind the 8 ball in 2021 and 2022 when we were fairly closely matched. In 2023 EC was just tremendous and we didn't have the horses to really compete. I like your guys' chances this year.

    Not really. With EC up in 5A, I don't see you having any significant challenge until Semi-State.

    I wouldn't call that game a beatdown. HH scored a TD with a minute to go to ice it away. It was a great game between the two best teams in 3A.

    Tuition at Memorial and Mater Dei is the same. It's a little under $10,000 for a student from an assessed parish and about $13,500 if not from an assessed parish.

    I hate that the surprise onside KO is gone from the NFL. It added a little bit of intrigue. And heck, the solo one against the Texans in 2014 is easily Pat McAfee's greatest contribution to football, not counting the drunken BR canal swim, I guess...

    The Tigers were on the field pretty early yesterday morning, so I assume Castle cancelled bc of the heat. Bosse hosted South Spencer and Mt. Vernon on Wednesday night in some 7o7.

    Does this mean Wk. 1 will not be slotted as the non-conference game for SIAC teams once VL is out? If so, I believe that is a big, big mistake.

    I loved those give aways. And he usually included an animal shelter donation for the winner. My only meager claim to Irsay fame is him liking a reply I made to one of his rock & roll tweets a few years ago.

    Yep. Very sad. Mr. Irsay had a huge heart. I suspect his daughters will do everything they possibly can to continue the legacy he leaves on football in Indiana.
