  1. I haven’t even talked about GS that much you guys just want to change the subject to that though because you cant even make an argument for anyone but yourselves lmao but hey why are you complaining, 90% of the time this thread is just a circle jerk of Memorial dads talking the same stuff. At least I’m willing to climb in the lions den and debate something.
  2. No. that’s what you would like to say but we all know bosse always pulls out a tough game out of nowhere. bosse couldn’t even get by Pike central/Princeton some years and you want me to move the goal post and change the equivalency bosse is on the same level as the bottom of the pac and they have done nothing in the last 10 years to prove otherwise
  3. I love how I pulled up all the H2H records of the 2 conferences and proved that top to bottom the SIAC and PAC have been pretty even over the last 10 years… and the result of that is Memorial starts talking about themselves and how great they are and trying to take shots under the belt 😂😂 This is why people don’t like you guys. Bunch of entitled private schoolers who talk down to everyone else
  4. Boonville is like 0-4 vs Harrison central and Reitz. But they are also a historically middle of the road team. i can include Vincennes too….they are like 1-5 vs PAC teams in the last 10 years….but we all know the SIAC doesn’t really accept them anymore
  5. I think that’s fair to say and compare. But as it stands now…bosse and North can barely beat 3 of the least successful teams in the state. A lot of people want to look at the PAC and immediately point to the bottom…and ya know….despite all of that, the top of the PAC sure doesn’t make any excuses and wins anyways. and then you have the SIAC guys pounding their chest even though north and bosse can barely take care of Princeton and Pike Central Im giving all the credit to memorial? We all know GS was better than Memorial last year. And Brebeuf was better than and beat Chatard. But I’m not here to talk up GS. you just prove my point that Memorial and Mater Dei are holding up the last bit of credibility to your argument
  6. Actually I looked it up. In the last 10 years… Mater Dei is 2-3 vs Southridge Memorial is 1-0 vs Heritage Hills and 3-3 with Gibson Southern that’s the top of each conference…6-6 is what you got… so let’s look at the rest of the SIAC…. North 2-1 vs Princeton 😂 lol tigers Bosse is 9-8 against Pike Central, Princeton, and Washington. The best things you got going for you is that Mater Dei is like 13-0 against Forest Park and South Spencer and Jasper before they joined you was 10-6 vs Southridge and Heritage Hills So yes @Screagle, I’ll say it with a straight face because outside of 2 state championships from memorial…you guys can brag that 2A powerhouse Mater Dei is undefeated against 2 teams that have combined to go 66-143 over the last 10 years.
  7. Dude….you guys beat us by 6 points in a game of #2 vs #3 even then you weren’t that much better…just better than night. but it’s fine…memorial is #1 in this ranking and I’m not arguing against that at all. Proving you are still #1 doesn’t prove anything for this argument lol
  8. So when Southridge beat MD in 2017 and went on to actually win state….that was different? they were the 2nd place PAC team! They also made it to 3A semi state iirc but I guess Mater Dei just making it to state is better lol. like I said…you guys just think you’re that much better….I mean…shoot…y’all have just as many state championships as the PAC in the last 10 years! It’s just 2. Correct. Castle and central. Both in 2020 and that is it.
  9. I just want to point out that it’s very hard for people to respect the SIAC when the SIAC won’t even respect it’s own conference champ….a team that beat both Memorial and Mater Dei the last 2 seasons since joining the SIAC. they beat the #1 and #2 teams on this ranking and they get no respect
  10. At least someone can cite an actual reason for the Jasper rankings instead of just saying whatever clown crap @Screagle said
  11. I can say the exact same thing about Memorial and the SIAC currently…. also I am pretty certain the 812s kids are at a SIAC school or at least were. I’ll fight against the SIAC so hard because outside of Memorial/Mater Dei you have all these other schools acting like they have a box to stand on and talk down about the PAC. All of you act like you’re so much better and the only thing us PAC guys say is that we are on par….not better not worse. but y’all won’t have it lol. The SIAC guys have been talking their talk for years against the Big 8 and PAC….and then let Jasper in and Jasper showed they ain’t all that. The same Jasper that routinely had close battles with Heritage Hills and Southridge who @Screagle is trying to discount as being just 2nd/3rd place teams…..and then you guys discount Jasper because they are not a true SIAC team.
  12. 🤡 First of all….you just ignored the part about Jasper that completely discredits the rankings. I don’t think I’ve ever seen where a team goes 9-0 winning the conference and they are ranked SIXTH PLACE! For the following year also…I wonder how Mater Dei feels about playing a 2nd place Southridge…..oh
  13. 89.1 The Bash out of Mt Carmel, Illinois does Gibson Southern last year they brought on a new broadcaster who was just absolutely phenomenal with the live call.
  14. To add. Idk how you put Boonville at 10. Southridge/north posey imo maybe even linton because we know linton is going to have a good team that is competitive as they have for what seems like 100 years
  15. I mean….812 is a SIAC guy. I wonder why he would rank 4 SIAC teams ahead of Heritage hills despite them not doing much the last 10 years or more its even more obvious when you consider Jasper is a new member to the SIAC, is 16-2 in 2 years and reigning conference champs….and he has them ranked 6th like…..LOL to join the SIAC go 16-2 only losing to memorial and central in year 1 and nobody else year 2….and they are ranked 6th for the conference
  16. Not to distract from this topic…but would love to hear some thoughts on Oak Hill from one it’s coaches. a lot of people are surprised they are in the preseason top 10 for 3A but the roster looks young and last year you guys went 8-3. hope someone applies for this teaching position!
  17. Their QB can sling it. In the state championship game he was able to hit a number of vertical routes with the WR in stride and just over the hands of the defenders. If he learns from this last season and cleans up some of the ints from forcing throws, he could really make a big splash. watching the Buckman/Walters connection vs the Allen/Heltsley connection in that state finals game was a lot of fun
  18. I agree with this. I’m sure it’s like this in other parts of Indiana, but the 812 definitely shows up when it’s a big game regardless of it’s their team. Especially if it’s a bigger rivalry for the sectional championship. those are the games that sell out quick and then they have to roll out extra bleachers/sell as standing room only
  19. Should I use corn cobs to soy beans? or Grippos to gallons of sweet tea?
  20. Lord. That is even more brutal than I expected. To be that close so many times in a row. Props to them though for keeping the culture and coming back every year still.
  21. Trips to LOS are earned, let alone winning it…but I feel like Mish Marian is due. I joined this forum 10 years ago and I swear they are always ranked around #3-5 every single year
  22. Before the memorial fans jump all over you….in 2018? They absolutely beat the brakes off of Chatard in the 3A semi state. (IIRC) Might have been the worst loss Chatard has ever had. It was a full running clock on Chatard which is pretty much unheard of
  23. Was the only difference in proposals the amount of time and points? Or was there more to the 4 year cycle.
  24. In kind of the the same twist of fate….the same thing happened to Gibson Southern. they are no longer in sectional 32 with Heritage Hills Southridge….and where Memorial would be if they were in 3A. They are now in Sectional 30. Still have 8-2 Mt. Vernon and 10-1 Owen Valley in there…but it’s not the same as facing Heritage Hills in sectionals….or Memorial when they were in 3A. Just like WL knows it’s not the same facing other teams when they have been battling Brebeuf and Chatard in their sectional
  25. Arguably the most competitive and difficult class in Indiana outside of 6A. Pound for pound some of the best programs in the state with plenty of talent to go with it. 3A has also produced some of the closest most thrilling games to watch in November with so many close games between top ranked opponents. Preseason top 10 from the digest with their records and Sagarin rankings from last year 1) Bishop Chatard (7-5) 83.50 -Obviously were in 4A last year. But we all know the drill. Chatard is king of 3A and it’s up to everyone else to prove they are not. 2) West Lafayette (9-1) 79.99 -Perennial Top 3 team for 3A. Always competitive….just not always the best luck when it comes to the tournament draw or who is in their sectional 3) Tri-West (11-3) 71.42 -Always find themselves in the top 10 but it ultimately is going to come down to the sectional. Sectional 29 no longer has Chatard but it does have Webo and Danville who are both ranked. 4) Lawrenceburg (11-2) 77.36 -Another stable fixture of the Top 10 for 3A. I personally have some questions after they graduated a lot of studs, including All-American/Notre Dame commit Ashton Craig. Others more in the know seem to think it doesn’t matter and the tigers are reloading. 5) Mish. Marian (11-4) 75.41 - I’m not familiar with Mish Marian at all. I don’t even know their mascot. What I do know is that they consistently get ranked in the top 5 at some point every year but they stall out in the playoffs. 6) Gibson Southern (14-1) 94.32 -Reigning 3A champions and perennial top 5 team. Have a number of key players returning…but ultimately Brady Allen is now at Purdue and now it’s time for the next group to step up and take this team as far as it can go. 7) Oak Hill (8-3) 46.46 -Arguably the biggest wild card in this ranking. Are they a new school? Looking at their stats from last year….They MAYBE graduated 3 starters. Team was almost exclusively all sophomores and juniors playing. Their RB ran for 1991 yards and 34TDs in 11 games…he is back. Definitely a team to keep an eye on if the stats are true because they will have plenty of returning starters the next 2 seasons 😎 Western Boone (7-5) 65.30 -Pound for pound one of the toughest programs in the state. Need to beat Danville and/or Tri-West to just win their sectional…but it’s a task they are surely up for. 9) Danville (10-2) 71.44 -Always so close always so far. Danville is always a great team. They just have ran into the likes of Tri-West and Chatard the last 3 years. When it’s a battle of top 10 teams in November….you have to be at your very best and mistake free otherwise your season is over. 10) Delta (5-6) 50.44 -Moving down from 4A to 3A, they are in a unique position. It appears like 9 or 10 of the offense and 7/8 of the defensive starters are returning. Young core…but they were 5-6….but also they are likely at the top of 3A in terms of enrollment and having high 3A enrollment + a young core usually results in Ws and a postseason run. Honorable Mention These are just some teams that I personally think are worth mentioning and very well may find themselves inside the top 5 at some point this season Hanover Central (11-2) 61.52 Tipp. Valley (10-1) 62.36 Heritage Hills (9-3) 64.47 Brownstown Central (11-1) 63.45 Mt. Vernon (Posey) (8-2) 65.62 Southridge (5-5) 57.40
