  1. I seen this. Such a good story. the whole idea of taking a day of such tragedy and bringing an awesome memory to it is heart warming. if I’m not mistaken, the children who were at sandy hook on that terrible day are now somewhere between 7th and 11th grade
  2. Yeah. Watching the packers go through the first 15 plays of the gameplan with ease and then holding on for life to barely win is getting frustrating....it’s gotta be damn near every game now besides like 2
  3. coaching at its finest.
  4. Indiana preps has your guy listed as one of the ones to watch for 2022 QBs ...seen that over the weekend
  5. The offense is frustrating. WRs we have drafted are not shaping out as well as they should have. Sure they make a good play that we will remember but they will play bad for the rest of them. Or in MVSs case just consistently blow an open look. winning games but we will need some magic for a post season run. Need to draft a WR....not a project either. Someone who has good routes and hands with good metrics. no more raw players who need to be refined. Use that 1st rounder and grab someone who will make an impact on day 1. Shoot trade up for lamb or maybe ruggs or trade way up if possible and get Jeudy who will be 5-10 most likely
  6. Not sure why Allen is the target here even if it’s claimed it isn’t (we know it is) if you see him play you understand why he is on this list. There is so much more than just the stats. There is the element of him making a number of reads, working to his 2nd, 3rd, 4th progressions....redirecting the routes of the WRs as he scrambles. The poise. Then you see his accuracy and his arm strength. there are so many little things he does...but people will be mad still that he is on the list and not someone else. for those who really care about the stats he had a pretty darn good year. career so far he’s half way to 10k and on track to finish 3rd/2nd all time in passing touchdowns...If GS can get out of their sectional with that pace, Allen will finish even better. the Ultimate test will be the 2020 schedule for GS and Allen. Will be playing a high 4A/lower 5A schedule compared to a high 2A/low 3A of the past 2 years. A number of games will likely be closer ones and he will be on the field a lot more
  7. I just don’t like the idea of kids losing eligibility because their coach/team gave up on them but the outside world will make it seem like they gave up on the team
  8. You might be right. I’m not too familiar with the process of kids losing scholarships/teams trimming. Curious though. Say Johnny Appleseed gets a scholarship to play for Alabama/Clemson/OSU but after 2 years they say he isn’t good enough. can say a team like FAU/Marshall off Johnny a scholarship to play? Does he have to still forfeit a year because of transferring?
  9. Probably is more about scholarship caps and recruiting season about to get really busy for one last push for the class of 2020
  10. Agreed they would be fine. Just looking at it from a player perspective...especially if i was a senior who wasn’t going to play professionally. I wouldn’t be surprised if they join the ACC by 2024. Probably the most likely move. Whether that lowers the number of big TV games or not is another story.
  11. Sorry I shouldn’t have said “primetime” I believe in 2021/2022 there is some sort of CBA to be discussed separately from the 2026 4 team Playoff contract with espn. I was reading up on this article and it basically got down to the NCAA strong arming Notre Dame into a conference. In part of doing this, Notre Dame is going to lose some of their nationally televised games. there is a growing movement against Notre Dame because they are not in a conference and also get a number of nationally televised games on big channels. The idea is that because Notre Dame isn’t in a conference and they get more national coverage that they get an unfair advantage to being thought of as a top team. now I’m definitely not a hater of Notre Dame and generally support the team so I would argue that they still play a tough schedule vs good teams and being that the games are all across the country, they of course will have it nationally televised. But my opinion doesn’t matter on this....because it’s what others are thinking and how big conferences are thinking. im trying to find the article I read this on but can’t. It’s based around the 4 team playoff moving to 8 potentially. Although it could have been about allowing athletes to earn money....which I think lines up more with 2021/2022 timeline.
  12. If I was a senior I would be livid if the team I played for decided to not play their bowl game. You earn that right and it’s the last game you likely get to play barring professional level play of any sorts. beyond that you are robbing the team you are playing that chance to play in a bowl game. there is so much more to it than just a primetime game because your team is a historic power and has so much tradition. fans should be humble because 2021 is coming and Notre Dame is gonna get its day of reckoning with the new CBA that will likely force them to lose their current national schedule and numerous primetime games.
  13. I just want to clarify this as I have the correct stats now. Seth had the 3rd best season for a GS receiver. someone not on this list who should be is Spencer Schmidt. In 2012 he had 64 catches for 811 yards and 3 scores. also worth noting that prior to 2012 the most completions in a season for GS was 87. Now it’s a regular occurrence to be over 150 sometimes pushing 200
  14. Braden tucker (6’4 320) made junior all state for 3A is returning logan murfin who had 500 yards receiving also returning. those are 2 notable names. on a side note if I’m not mistaken the current freshman are the first class who have been running the “Hart defense” their entire career and were very familiar with the schemes as 8th graders. Maybe I’m biased because my brother is in this class of rising sophomores but it was mentioned to me last year or so that they were fully using the same schemes Hart implemented and I believe we’re one of the first to I guess only know that scheme. I guess the take away is that the rising sophomore class may have potential to make a splash...at least maybe on defense Haha. im biased on this though
  15. Packers keep winning. Was hoping the 9ers would lose but it’s all good. just keep rolling
  16. Trevor Lawrence is playing really well in the second half of this season. they are actually 2 1/2 favorites over OSU right now
  17. But is there any actual difference to the teams it includes?
  18. I’m sure there is definitely someone. But I hope they all stay lol
  19. Now before we get to the photos. Don’t make the same mistake I have in the past and ask why a huge name has been left off. If a player is on the TOP 50 list or whatever it is called they are not eligible for these. Just how it is. junior team
  20. The all metro team was just all Siac I thought. So would going about it that way leave out jasper/Vincennes players from all conference?
  21. With the conference realignments. Is all SW Indiana the new all PAC? Lol
  22. Coach Hart has it made at GIbson Southern. Complete and absolute support from the administration and community....players buying in....a large number of assistant coaches bought into the program. and now the roster is 80+ kids. im not sure about pay or what he does for work inside SGSC but I imagine he is pretty happy with life
  23. I respect his opinion when it comes to college ball and nfl most the time. But not so much his wild ideas in this sub forum
