I love how I can figure out who the veteran fans here are. for Chatard...the guys that have been here every year don’t talk about SOS mattering as much....new guys/non frequent posters scream about SOS. for HH, the vets understand the task at hand. They talk about previous matchups with Chatard....new guys/non frequents talk about recruiting and bite all the baited hooks to defend HH

This! rooting for the rival Patriots in this one. But know Chatard is the standard for success in 3A. Sigler is such a special player too. If Heritage Hills wins this, it’s because of this fine young man. Heritage Hills without sigler would probably be good enough to still be at LOS this week. But Sigler adds a whole different level of play. Basically....HH is a 700 HP Big Block running on e85.....The addition of Sigler makes the team a 900HP big block on 118 high octane. by this measure. If Chatard wants to win. They have to contain Sigler.

GS is just in a weird spot it seems. I believe year in and year out they have a top 5 3A team....the only problem is that they face another top 5 team usually in sectional. some teams have the proverbial “hump” to get over. Like linton and Semi state....Gibson Southn has one for elite 3A teams where it just seems to slip away. 2012- Loss to Chatard At Semi (Chatard wins title) 2013- loss to Brebeuf in semi (Brebeuf was runner up) 2014- only losses to HH (1 regular 1 sectional)...Heritage Hills fell in regionals 2015- loss to Chatard in semi (best team of GS ever. Everyone agrees GS had the best team that year but Mother Nature wasn’t having it) Chatard wins state 2016- loss to memorial 2017- loss to memorial (memorial state champs) 2018-loss to memorial (memorial runner up) 2019-loss to Heritage Hills......I guess we will find out how that plays out. of Harts 84-15 record.... No loss has come to a losing record team. 3 losses to eventual state champion 2 losses to eventual runner up 2 losses to 6A schools GS is so close yet so far at the same time. I’m hoping that this offseason is similar to 2014/2015 Offseason where the team Is super hungry and digs in....for GS to win it all or make it to LOS, they no longer can be comfortable being just one of the top teams....they have to be THE top team

Pretty much this. Gibson Southern has made some good runs this decade (seemingly have lost every year to the team who wins it all or finishes runner up) Heritage Hills historic powerhouse Memorial before they got bumped up now Southridge after they won state in 2017 for 2A and lost to webo in...semi state??? Last year Vincennes got moved to a new sectional this year and by the accounts of the fans for the team having a “down year” they put a nice run together to win their sectional. outside the scope of “32” the pocket of SW Indiana has been very strong recently. The Kids are playing great across the board and it’s showing up in the tournaments. I love it

@Screagle so like....when am I getting that crow pie? Lol. i 100% didn’t believe memorial would be good enough to return to LOS after all the studs they graduated but you said from the get go they were very capable

Kyler murray is having a good rookie season too! Russell Wilson is having an mvp type season. height is nice but making good reads and accurate passes is more important

Kyle Adams should probably get the praise this year. He is a senior and put up unbelievable numbers. the fact that Brady is up there already though just shows how much he has grown as a player. He is only a sophomores. I believe he currently has just over 5k passing and about 55 touchdowns on the career. Losing to Memorial last year and Heritage Hills this year obviously puts a ceiling on might have been already. from last year to this year though. The improvement has been incredible. GS was able to start using the read option later in the season and he is working hard to increase his mobility. the only knocks on his game right now are that he can be outrun by defenders (who are upper class men) and rolling to his left he has accuracy issues when throwing on the run. If he runs to his right though it’s a missile. Kid makes great reads and works through his progressions nice. Footwork is on point. All kinds of poise. Phenomenal arm. He entered high school able to throw it 50 yards downfield. I’m sure he can throw it a bit further now. Especially after he threw the final seconds game tying 88 yard touchdown pass vs Southridge...that ball had about 45 air yards and wasn’t a wild heave at all. Allen has a promising future at the next level for sure. And he still has 2 years left at GS. Count on him to be even better this year. GIbson Southerns schedule effectively goes from 2A to 4A with 4 games vs 5A size or better so this team is going to be working hard this offseason to meet the challenge. Allen will also be attending a number of camps I’m sure. He is already planning on attending the all American combine at the all American bowl in San Antonio. Obviously I’m a GS fan/Alum and I’m biased but i tell ya. The one thing that makes me proud of the program is the amount of work these kids put in on their own accord to be better for their teammates and the titans in general....this is year in and year out that they do this. And Brady Allen is no exception. Just a great kid who has no quit and works to get better all the time

100% defense. our defense should be able to keep them at bay. Holding them to 21 or less. But we need to score more than 28 against them and that will be tough. their line gets after it. So many sacks from the ends. LB play is good. CBs play good and hold coverage longer than most giving the team coverage sacks. imo they have the best defensive line in the nfl this year. And it’s probably not too close

Big matchup this week. Need to win to stay ahead of MN but also to get closer to home field advantage

I’m not mad at all. Not one bit. HH is a special team. Rival sure. But I have the utmost respect for them any time GIbson Southern is not facing them/there is an upcoming matchup between the 2. i just think it’s funny how y’all think you reinvented the wheel and will be doing something HH hasn’t seen. GS alone brings so many looks/formations to a game...they can go run heavy. They can pass they will run the RPO a lot....every year GS has one of the top offenses in the state in terms of points and yards. but sure. You guys will have something brand new....brand new straight from the GS film your coaches have been glued to all week 😂
