  1. As long as we get them at home and not cali I’m happy
  2. @Titan32 screen shot that table cuz the formatting is worse than wood memorials football program
  3. Yeah I’m not sure anyone really minds this. among us here on the grid, we all pretty much accepted that Brady was the best QB and Sigler was hands down the MVP midseason lol. sigler probably was unanimously voted in as MVP. Such a rare talent.
  4. From what I have been told coaches bring a list of players they wanna nominate coaches cannot vote for their own players the other coaches place their votes for whatever spot...votes tallied. You get that much any player who was on the list but not voted for by other coaches enough gets honorable mention. im sure coaches bring only so many players on their list. so it appears Coach Hart very much wanted to have him as 1st team but the other coaches cast more votes for other players. no idea how close the voting was either. this is what I have been told. Your son had a great year. No reason to be down. The only coach who mattered to him clearly believed he had earned the spot on the list.
  5. I thought they got entered in about a week after the game. Obviously I always favor GS players but the two guys selected at LB were absolute studs. calvert is the defensive captain. Sometimes it’s not always just about stats but it still is. There is probably an argument for you here but I personally don’t see it as a major overlook considering the talent at that position in the PAC This! Linebackers this year were super stacked.
  6. After looking at the stats some more.....I think ALL PAC needs to expand a bit to include 3 WRs. Seth delong had the 5th beat receiving year ever for a GS player (at least to what I can find). He led the PAC in receiving with 830 yards and had 11 scores to go with it. Maybe the format isn’t inclusive enough for WRs/TEs......The kid from SR is certainly worthy and everyone knows ben butler is uber talented and deserving....but man. if you lead the PAC in receiving and receiving touchdowns and you are only honorable mention...it just isn’t right. maxpreps doesn’t have classes broken up correctly but I believe Seth was #5 in receiving yards this year in 3A. im not looking to stir trouble. All players listed are very deserving. Just believe there should be more WRs to be ALL PAC 1st team
  7. Not many surprises. Sigler definitely the MVP. I wonder if there were plenty of OL guys though that were worthy and were upperclassmen. The one name I’m surprised with not making it is Braden Tucker. He is the 6’4/6’5 315lb + guard for GS. But. He is a junior and it seems the seniors were given their respects which is completely understandable and appropriate
  8. Insane besides just the valpo online viewership I think a fair number of people wanted to see spegal play...just on here alone there were a number of us who tuned in just to see him play, myself included.
  9. Most of SW Indiana thought y’all were rebuilding after last year too 😉
  10. It depends on the year I suppose. If Wisconsin only lost to OSU by a few points the B1G championship would mean more. the big 12 just takes the top two teams for what is usually a rematch anyways. Oregon played auburn well utah is also suppose to have a top 5 defense in the country. (That’s what broadcasters like to repeat)
  11. Who is in. Who is out bama out for sure my top 4 currently. LSU Ohio St Clemson Oklahoma I like Utah. But Oklahoma is gonna finish the year with 2 wins over top 25 opponents (if they win). bama lost thank freaking god. Now we don’t have to debate over them getting in to appease the SEC stans
  12. Maybe. I think defensively you guys would have been one of the best teams but 32 was a gauntlet again. I know personally that I wrote you guys off in the preseason and laughed at the idea that your defense got better. Boy was I wrong. more than anything I’m impressed that this team was it’s own new team. This wasn’t the Lindauer to Branson team where you couldn’t do anything to stop them or slow them down. Instead this team made its own mark through a new identity and got the job finished. Obviously a lot of guys on last years team carried over but many embraced new roles and what not. incredible job. now before anyone else starts this talk I would like to...... what are y’all gonna do if you have to play in 5A in 2021 with only 600 kids for enrollment 😂. Obviously have a lot of work to even make that happen but the possibility it certainly there now
  13. It’s crazy to think how much talent memorial has graduated over the past 3 years and yet they are in LOS every year.....even after being moved up a class too.
  14. Completely agree. Watching the game, those refs performed an outstanding job and made the correct calls favoring nobody. Class act, championship level performance, great job. I wasn’t aware there was an observation crew at all. That’s kinda cool. Also cool to know/confirm how the refs performed for this game. Not often we get that kinda info.
  15. Excited about this game. Will be the first time I can see spegal play live....up until now it’s been his highlights which are truly ridiculous lol
  16. Now it’s about watching Charlie “the tank” Spegal one last time in HS. special kid we all get to watch on the biggest stage yet of his career.
  17. Congrats to Chatard on another state championship! Job well done this season great season by Heritage Hills this year too! Nothing to be down about. Fantastic work all season and represented the PAC/ SW Indiana well!
  18. Another INT HH has ran the ball well between the 20s but they are outside their comfort zone trying to pass now when they need to. HH has really struggled to finish off drives today. Chatards defense vs the pass and in the redzone have been a winning factor. it really seems that on defense Chatard is saying “we will let you chip away at it and get down field...then we are going to stuff you and make you waste 6 minutes on a drive”. Obviously that’s not the gameplan lol but it sure seems like that’s the way the game has gone
  19. Broadcasters for the game just made a comment on what I’m saying. “HH has a good gameplan from 20 to 20 but outside of that they are struggling and 3 points won’t cut it vs Chatard”
  20. BC has had a great game defending in the redzone today. That’s no mistake. But I believe HH has only had to punt 1 time maybe 2. They have moved the ball down field throughout the game though. A number of drives stalling out there. Chatard has been a great bend don’t break defense tonight. And they just made a great play on that pick 6. it really seems like you’re not watching the game though pointing at just the scoreboard.
  21. Are you guys watching the same game? Penalties aren’t keeping them in the game. There have been running well also. The penalties have been good calls. Good officiating so far. where HH is being beat up is on defense vs the run. Offensively they are moving the ball well.
  22. I feel like HH is performing better than given credit for. The chop block that put them at 1st and 25 at midfield killed their drive. then when. Chatard was way behind the chains #2 had a great long run breaking tackles to make it 21-3. HH has certainly shown that they can move the ball. But they are making mental mistakes that they don’t usually do
  23. The rest of the PAC is definitely not looking forward to a bunch of legacies from that era of HH football lol
