  1. This never gets old haha. I’m sure HH is capable of passing the ball. They have passed vs other teams but we all know they certainly don’t need to. one of you HH fans said it well already this year “HH is a very balanced team in that they will get the ball to 4,5,6 different guys and all of them have run the ball very well. It’s no single player effort in the rushing attack” (paraphrased)
  2. I mean. No doubt. You want to instantly grab top recruits and have a top 5 team? Hire urban....for football he is a great coach. it’s just in my eyes he is a win at any and all costs kinda guy
  3. If they were here they didn’t post at all. I was very clearly by myself hyping GS for a good bit. Then a few came out of the shadows if what you say is true. then we had the great flood of GS posters before they died off after 2015
  4. To be fair I have been the only member here who was here before the Hart era...and I was here as a student at GS back in 2011...I’m not sure any other GS poster has been here as long. so this whole time, the GS posters have only spoke/wrote about the Hart area. Right or wrong that’s the way I perceive it....and I find myself being the only one to ever mention what it was like at GS for football before Hart.
  5. If you want to sacrifice any and all moral integrity of Notre Dame lol. Notre Dame is an academic school...like northwestern, wake forest, Stanford, Vanderbilt....they aren’t a win by any means necessary school. Sure they have a rich athletic history, but I highly doubt they risk the chance of some NCAA investigation that is always following Urban
  6. Y’all memorial fans are a funny bunch y’all like to talk up your good teams so much and then absolutely disregard your bad teams like they are ungrateful step children who are a stain on your programs history. 3-3 very easily could be 5-1 for BOTH teams. 2014 GS and 2018 memorial are the only years the games haven’t been close at all this decade.
  7. Look man. I live in Green Bay. I eat brats all the time. Brats and cheese. It’s the Wisconsinite diet....BUT ONE MAN HERE LIKES CHICKEN BRATS....I can’t remember who but it threw the whole board into a tail spin last year. some are saying it is the reason the board crashed (not confirmed but NOT A COINCIDENCE) just saying. I’m right with ya....but not all sinners have heard the gospel of tailgating Jesus
  8. Chicken brats....1. if one certain member here is in attendance... normal brats.....I’m not sure I can count that high.
  9. The question to me though. can a man like say.....Tua be paid to do a commercial for say....some business. there are no references to football at all. But he is in the commercial will the NCAA say he only got the commercial job because he is on Alabama’s football team? Is his name and likeness only viewable because he is an athlete? will that conflict with “they are students first athletes second” Also. Can a player start up their own business selling say...apparel....in which they make their own merchandise and sell. It may include football themed stuff too
  10. I think it’s clear that Gibson southern has the horses to put up the points. the real concern is turnovers. there is no way around it....to beat the Patriots you have to force more turnovers than they do. Their defense is very good so they will likely get 1 or so. But can GS get more? Can GS not throw 3 INTs and fumble It again? if GS can not turn the ball over I like their chances a lot. another thing..... Sigler...PAC MVP by all accounts and absolute stud. Have to contain that young man and keep it away from him on defense. the pressure is on GS for this one. They have to limit mistakes. They have to stop HH. Heritage Hills is just not a team that will beat themselves so the titans have to go after it if they want to win. should be a great one! Safe travels for everyone attending and the team!
  11. https://twitter.com/axios/status/1189240115845042176?s=20 Misleading title. Athletes can earn money off their name and likeness as an athlete. Not that the NCAA will actually pay them
  12. West Lafayette lost GK3 though. The man is currently playing at a level for Purdue that is worthy of playing in the NFL yeah they kept a lot of good kids for this year but man. GK3 is a whole defense by himself. Brohm said earlier this year that (paraphrasing) “if we had 11 George’s, this team would be sitting pretty good”
  13. Too bad this week is @chargers .....it’s that time of year where no team wants to travel to Lambeau
  14. You should be. That defense is crazy lol
  15. I can only guess he thought someone would be open and wanted to make a play. But I agree. He will likely fix it by himself this week. The man is a perfectionist and his biggest criticizer
  16. It was shaky at first as expected installing a whole new offense. But there are so many little things they keep adding. Just layers and layers. It’s a real thing of beauty. a lot of people criticized him because he did nothing in Tennessee...but mariota/gabbert is tough to work with. Now he has Rodgers. And he is starting to let Rodgers go out and call his own shots more and more as Rodgers knows how this offense is suppose to run more and more.
  17. I agree. In this day and age. Tua really isn’t standing out that much even with all his stats....it’s just...what is expected. for a heisman, I feel like you gotta bring your team above and beyond.....guys like lamar Jackson with louisville. Baker and kyler brought their own spark to OU...pulling rabbits out of hats. right now tua and fields are going exactly what they are suppose to be going. Hurts too but losing always hurts the chance to get the award. the two guys who stand out to me this year are chase young and Jonathan Taylor...and well. Young obviously showed he was good enough to absolutely shut down the best rb and OL in football right now. people always talk about that heisman moment. Baker and kyler had a few. Lamar Jackson destroyed defenses all year long in a crazy highlight reel....cmc (the biggest snub of a heisman ever) was everything to Stanford and unstoppable (still is lol)....young just made his heisman moment.....as for fields/tua? They simply are just great qbs with the best weapons around them in college right now. Sorry for the typos. My phone has a crack in the screen and now i can’t type the letter after C without autocorrect helping me lol. Such a pain
  18. There is truth to that. But I think young is still better than fields overall as a player. And it’s not close. when we think about what the bosa’s did there and Hubbard and the other numerous 1st rounders/all big 10 lineman...young shines above the rest
  19. Found on the interwebs in the twitter sphere.... ”It’s difficult for the lay person to truly understand the ingenious high brow offense of Matt Nagy and the Chicago Bears. But if you wish to try, here is a copy of their playbook. “
  20. 7-1 baby! I think at this point, Adams being out has been the most beneficial thing for this team. Forcing them to find other means to score. im very impressed with the RB duo of Jamaal and Aaron. Aaron is becoming a true feature back. And Williams is only a tick below him. Rodgers is beginning to really understand the offense and it’s beautiful.
  21. Bears just need to get into finding a new scheme offensively all together. It’s not working and they can’t rely on their defense as much as they do
  22. Probably...but ya know....I think this may be a year where the voters jump on the hype train
