  1. @Rudy outstanding work. And I think these rankings are pretty spot on!
  2. 2014 Heritage Hills was the team to beat. They could run the bone and spread it out passing. Very good team. As a GS fan, I would argue that the 2015 team would not have been as good without HH in 2014. That senior class buckled down over the off season. Players were holding nightly film review sessions by themselves. They were absolutely determined to win it all. Even though they lost, that class/team brought so much class performance and pride to every game that it is recognized as one of the best 3A teams of all time. Truly a special team. they were averaging 250 in the air 250 on the ground. Defense was phenomenal. the best part of the whole thing though in my opinion....they showed the state that it’s not always about SoS. Sometimes you can be just that much better while facing weaker teams
  3. Wait! Does this mean there are secret tunnels under Notre Dame? Wabash college also hosted V12 trainees in ww2 and because of it there are some secret tunnels and sorts between some of the buildings. Not many but wabash is super small
  4. Ya know. We wouldn’t even have to worry about this if they would expand playoffs 8 teams 5 conference champions from the Power 5. 3 wild cards
  5. I personally would like to see acc get Rutgers Maryland West Virginia South Carolina acc lose Louisville Georgia tech b10 lose Rutgers Maryland b10 get Notre Dame Louisville sec get Georgia tech sec lose South Carolina b12 get BYU Houston Memphis b12 lose West Virginia
  6. The 2018 WL Memorial game was truly ridiculous. One of the best games I have seen
  7. While true, Purdue is just so dang young. By the time these young guys roll around, they will be a top B10 school. If they land Yanni Karlaftis too.....oh boy. i just imagine in 2021 they have bell and Karlaftis as juniors....Moore as a senior. And I’m sure a number of other talents...but those 4 alone will give them a top 25 team. That’s just my opinion though.
  8. Depending how the cards fall, Brady Allen out of GIbson Southern could land there. He loves the brohms from my understanding. He is projecting to be a 4/5 star prospect too. Allen would be class of 2022 and has openly stated what he is looking for. 1) good academic school 2) scheme that throws the ball a lot with lots of weapons 3) a situation favorable to playing sooner than later. Purdue certainly checks 2 of those boxes...situation is hard to judge this far out though. Notre Dame is considered the favorite right now but they have two of the top QBs in the 2020 and 2021 class already.
  9. 2013 they likely would have won. But I think it’s an interesting scenario. If they played the 2013 game vs GS they would have looked at almost the same exact team they faced in 2015. So many 3 year starters on that 2015 GS team and a handful of 4 year starters
  10. Gibson southern 2012. First year of nick hart as coach. Went 7-2...OT in semis of sectionals. Win on goal line stand....following week beat memorial 24-21 in OT....then played 12-0 Charlestown who were basically having a 2018 pioneer type season in terms of scoring and defense (I think it was an average margin of 65-3) ...were down 49-21 at the half. Came back to win 56-49 and allowed only 56 yards in the 2nd half. it was GIbson Southerns 1st sectional championship and 1st regional championship in the schools history. semi state faced Chatard lol. 56-7 loss but most GS fans laugh at it as the first real taste of top tier football
  11. Love it. Thanks for the clarification ill take stinktown by 31 spin city over days of the new pirates by 15. casket nation by 21. And chicken Jo Joes over Hondaburg by 17 no rhyme or reason just taking guesses
  12. @StinkTownClown could you explain the names for the towns you have? Which team is stinktown which is spin city....casket nation? I gotta keep up with the lingo lol
  13. With GK3 and bell anything is possible. both are doing absolutely outstanding as true freshman. Killing it....truthfully I think GK3 is the best freshman in college football right now and i don’t think it’s particularly close. B10 OLs are no joke and TCUs Line is massive. Yet it doesn’t make much difference.
  14. Kinda surprised Lawrenceburg is listed as the favorite. All the talk has been Btown central. I don’t really know much about either other than BTC runs like a shotgun double wing/wing t gig that they are comfortable passing out of and is pretty lethal (at least that’s how it has been in previous years and I doubt the coach is gonna change it up now lol)
  15. 1) panthers wouldn’t sell for less than a 1st ++ 2) cam means more to the panthers community than arguably any other players. The work he has done for kids is incredible. He is more than just a face of a franchise 3) trubs isn’t the only problem with the bears. Play calling as a whole is bad...they sold jordan Howard (IMO big mistake) and they have failed to progress their current WRs and haven’t shopped for another stud player either. the bears should give trubs full control of the offense. Have him run hurry up and call his own shots and sprinkle in the run. The man can play. But Nagy is too cute and the way he runs the game, defenses can just wind up and deliver a knockout punch when needed. also I think it’s worth noting that Vic Fangio made the difference in that defense. Probably similar to wade Phillips. Heckuva coordinator...not so great as a coach. The little details he had was the icing on the cake to that defense.
  16. Literally the same thing i have been told by my uncle in Raleigh. Plenty of nice suburbs being built there too
  17. So a few weeks ago there were trade rumors swirling.. they said the 49ers, patriots, and packers were all looking for WRs. They also said manny sanders and aj green were trade assets being shopped.... well the patriots got a WR.....49ers got sanders...does that mean AJ Green is getting traded to Green Bay?
  18. I personally love North Carolina. Great state. Actually have 2 uncles who recently moved out there separately and both speak highly of their areas. 1 is in the Raleigh area the other is in Winston Salem.
  19. Lol. Winter in Indiana is completely different than MN Wisconsin and the UP. Do it like many Wisconsinites and Minnesotans have for years....waterfront up here from May to November....down south in Florida/Georgia/Arizona from November to May. people in Indiana like to say they like the winter until they have to deal with snow in April, daily highs that are in the negatives and shoveling snow as a ritual morning routine. Lol. Shoot this past winter my brother was complaining about how there was the really cold day of -22 windchill....I had to tell him that it was -24 degrees actual temp and the wind chill was -55....and I still had to go work on a new home being built. trust me. Summer home up here on a lake. Low humidity...70s 80s. Then book it south for winter and stay above 30
  20. @Coach Nowlinlet us all rejoice in the fact that neither of our favorite teams have Sam Bortles...I mean darnold 😂 oh lord...also that the NFC north won’t face the Patriots this year unless they are in the Super Bowl
  21. Could use some clarification... is the rule “you cannot actively participate in both” or “if you play football you have to wait until after thanksgiving to participate no matter if your team lost in sectionals or went all the way” regardless, I’m not sure how wrestling is formatted, but team sports like basketball i agree that you shouldnt play both at the same time and a cool down period would be beneficial. With Indiana’s all in tournaments, there is not rush to get going. But with that said I’m not sure how wrestling works out especially since there is seeding.
  22. Hey it could be worse. You could be a Green Bay native/resident and always get the jab of “Green Bay has had 30 years of HOF QBs and only 2 Super Bowls...you guys just love to waste talent”
  23. My favorite thing this year is seeing a tweet from june asking the question “will trubisky dethrone Rodgers in 2019” 😂😂😂
  24. 3A. Southridge. Heritage Hills is the favorite out of the south but Southridge had them 7-7 at the half before the flood gates opened and Southridge also had Gibson Southerns number this last Friday for 44/48 minutes. it took a miracle from GS scoring with 4 minutes left getting a stop and then with 12.5 seconds left hitting an 88 yard touchdown on 4th and 10 + a broken philly special for the 2 to beat SR 22-21. they have the easiest path to a sectional championship for 32 and will likely face either Heritage Hills or Gibson Southern again and I’m sure neither GS or HH want to face SR again. They will come hungry and with a massive chip on their shoulder
  25. Yeah it’s been like that for a while. The best years they have had are the ones where they have a 3-4 year starter as their feature weapon. I really don’t know what to say other than they just need more numbers and keep the numbers up for a sustained 3-4 year stretch. even when I played for GS, prior to the Coach Hart era where GS was finishing 4-6/4-7 year in and year out, Pike Central was homecoming and always a blowoutp.
