Snider is undersized on the line, but there have been many years that has been the case and they find a way. I want to see how the transfer RB from Lakeland that had 1,500 last year as a sophomore fits in, QB Vance needs to avoid turnovers, and Logan needs to be the best player on the field. I know this, Snider won’t be intimidated by Warren in the least. Game really could go either way…

First, this was a tongue in cheek statement. Second, what previous statement are you referring to? That I am aware of, I have not made a pick in this game. Lastly, I do not play both sides of the fence. Unlike most people, I put myself out there with a pick and stand by it. I have continuously said for months that Warren being given all this love is undeserved based on their results coming into this year. I have not said Snider is the best team in the state this year and that they are better than Warren this year. I honestly don’t have a feeling on this game at this point

Coaching malpractice is exactly it. Those kids from Brownsburg didn’t lose that game, the coaches did. I would have gladly slotted Snider behind Brownsburg last year had they won state as they were that damn good.

I did not watch the game so I can’t tell you exactly what happened with Carroll vs Warsaw game. As BTF said, things happen in each game to change an entire narrative for a team. Perfect example, best team in 6A forme last year was Brownsburg. How they lost to BD escapes me….

Hey, Warren was tied with BD with 3 minutes to go last year so does that mean they are close to equal with BD last year? Works both ways….

Carroll -3 with it being at home, extremely tough to win at Carroll Snider and Warren I have no clue yet so I will just say it is a pick em game. Wish this game was a week later so we all could see what is what for both teams. Something tells me the winner win by double digits

They will be a contender in the North for 5A this year. Expect them to be playing for a regional title. Where that puts them, not sure, somewhere around 25-30

Hilarious. Carroll is not a favorite team of mine, but I recognize they are a team that is a top tier team in the SAC, challenges itself with 2 tough out of conference games, is growing faster than any other team in the SAC, and will be a contender for years to come

No it’s not. My stance has been the same on Warren all along. They beat nobody with a winning record. Nobody. Hang your hat on them and reward them to start the year, I am not. They need to earn a preseason designation, not be given it as preseason ranking are pretty much based on last years results

Same discussion we had a couple weeks ago, who did Warren beat last year? Nobody with a winning record. As far as geography, not buying that either. I literally said take the rest of the teams and throw em in hat. I will say again that even if Warren goes 14-0 and wins the state title this year, they don’t deserve to be ranked in the top 5 to start the year based on the performance of their team last year. I’m not changing your mind and you are not changing my mind on this subject so can’t wait to get this season started

My response is specific to Warren, they earned nothing going into this year. All the other teams, throw them in a hat. I like Carroll to beat HSE in week 1 and then lose in week 2, can’t remember if it’s Fishers or Westfield. Wrong Yes

Ok, I would rank these 5 teams this way: 10. Westfield 9. Crown Point 8. HSE 7. Cathedral 6. Carroll Now, I would have Warren Central at 10 as the way they finished last year merits a lower ranking until they prove it, let the teams that had good to great years last year be above them, they earned it, but I digress. I find it interesting that plenty of coaches want to talk about public vs. private schools. Honestly, I like the idea several brought up about private schools playing at least one level above their class. Also, I think the 2 year window is too small for reclassification. 3-4 years would be better

Until we get games this year, to me it makes sense.

BTF, I am of the belief that Snider needs to get his hands on the ball offensively sometimes, whether at running back or wide receiver. Speed kills, especially 4.4 speed
