  1. That is the million dollar question. I seriously have a hard time thinking that any power 5 head coach would leave their current position to come to IU. That leaves assistant coaches at power 5 schools as the next option or a D2/D3 head coach. The question that needs to be asked is the IU administration serious about competing in football at the D1 level? The answer forever is no. To compete at this level, you must put mega millions into your program and that part has been an utter failure. You must have tons of money for NIL, which they seemingly don’t.
  2. That is as of today, things will change next week after the games…
  3. 1. Georgia 2. Michigan 3. Washington 4. Ohio State
  4. Tom Allen has been fired this morning according to ESPN.com. Hie will be paid his full buyout, which is approximately 20.8 million dollars, which is one of the largest in college football history. I never want to see anyone lose a job in today’s world, but 20.8 million is plenty to live on. Incompetence ruled Allen’s last couple years.
  5. Luers would beat both Lutheran and Adams Central I believe
  6. Not sure, but I would have to think Logan is somewhere on the offensive side of the ball. That guy is dynamic
  7. BD 10 - CP 0, late first half, bad missed call by the official on the TD catch, player easily got 3 feet in bounds, cost BD a TD
  8. East Central is a very good team, but certainly not the best team in Indiana. Let the haters loose now…
  9. Not really. Luers is in the SAC and they are the lowest class team in the conference. They take their lumps, but when the playoffs start, they will see nothing that they haven’t already seen at a higher level
  10. 2A is far worse, been saying it all year
  11. Well said. What most people don’t seem to understand is Luers plays up all year until the tourney. They play 3-4 6A teams, 2-3 5A teams, and the rest are 3 or 4A teams. They were beaten badly by East Noble and New Haven early in the year, both 4A teams, and lost by 3 points to 6A Homestead, who gave Snider their only loss.
  12. I don’t believe Lutheran and Adams Central would walk thru 2A this year. I think both would be tough to beat though. Neither of those teams, in my opinion, would beat Luers
  13. I will say this: 1A was not good outside of Lutheran and Adams Central 2A is abysmal compared to any previous year you can think of 3A It was Chatard and nobody else 4A East Central, then a drop off to East Noble, Leo, and Northwood, nothing after that 5A Snider, Mishawaka, Valparaiso were the class of this division 6A Ben Davis, Brownsburg, Center Grove at the top then Crown Point, HSE, Westfield, and Penn
  14. Rodney, you are going to get BobRef all excited now. It is only 1pm and you are on your 2nd 12 pack. Long day to go…
  15. 2009-2012 if memory serves me correctly, they won 4 state titles in a row with Jaylon Smith, future NFL player. They have had a few NFL players in that locker room
  16. Luers 21 - North Posey 3 halfway thru the 3rd quarter
  17. Been a short decade… Look at their history
  18. Of course he/she does, not convinced that their state title they won at LOS wasn’t a band competition
  19. Very slow, the kickoff return Luers had was pretty definitive of the speed difference
  20. 100% agree. They should absolutely throttle this team, but this is not your typical juggernaut Luers team.
  21. Luers looks like they will roll North Posey. If that is North Posey’s offense on the first drive, forget about it, it’s a wrap
  22. Defensively, I would say this Snider team is a top 3 all time Snider defense. Offensively, the lack of a consistent passing game takes away a little bit. I would say a top 10 team all time Snider team and, most importantly, a state champion Snider team
  23. Congrats to Decatur Central on a great season!!! Up way too late. Parents need to password protect your computer
